Re: Plain 26 T touring questions.
Nickel shell, colored paint and wire wheels available on closed cars first in 26. Base open T was still available with no electric start/lighting, kerosene sidelites and non demountable wheels until mid-26. I believe black rad shell and black paint available on open Ts most of 26 model year.

Re: Advice on Shifting a Ruckstell
I've had 3:1 in a '26 Ruxtell and Rockys in my '15 Touring for 25 years. Its my daily driver 8 months of the year. Yes, its a Mid-West Flatland T because thats where I live. Every day I lift the crank. That Ruxtell makes it such a joy to live with. I made a left shifter from a p-brake lever with pil...

It is most certainly a 1906 production Model N: - buggy rail for the top fastens to tabs that come Thru the seat all the same height around the back of the body. - clearly has the smaller 28x3 wheels rather than the 30x3 of the R. - bail handle sidelites and horn on the steering column are consisten...

An accessory carburetor question
When I was a kid, my dad bought several boxes of carbs from a long time family friend. Dad had no interest in the accessory ones. He never looked at them. When I would come home to CT from college, or from MI, I would go thru that box every time. I remember there being a few Stombergs, a few Zeniths...

Re: 1912 Ford Model T Touring For Sale
Im familiar with the car, formerly owned by Lou Parmalee of CT. 1912 was a crazy year for Ford, and they made many changes to the body thru the year. This is a later '12 and has the smooth sided body and its rear doors are front hinged, opening from the rear, unlike cars earlier or later. It has its...

Re: FS 1917 T Coupelet - Price Reduced
The people who are getting lost in mildew and oil drips and the wrong engine are also people who will never be able to get thru the "Elephant Eating" effort that is a restoration. One person said its a $10,000 body on a $2,500 chassis. Precisely! With a $1,500 Ruxtell and a $2,000 set of wire wheels...

I just cant believe nobody has jumped on this! I remember the first Coupelet I ever saw at Hershey. And Bill Barth used to run his quite a bit on tours. People were always hanging around them all excited!
Nobody cares anymore? It is so sad.

The owner also has an unrestored '16 Runabout available. That would be a perfect donor chassis for this car.

Re: Want to Buy
Just for clarity, 1919-22 were the same with forward opening doors. 1923-25 were the same, slightly larger with rear opening doors. I assume you are open to either version.
Just want to make sure you find what you want.

Re: FS 1917 T Coupelet
So, lots of silly discussion. The cheapest way to put a correct chassis under it: buy a good running correct 17 Touring or Runabout, swap the bodies, sell the other. But you could have tons of fun driving the wheels off a 17 Coupelet until you find the donor! This is likely the only example you will...

FS 1917 T Coupelet - Sold - Updated
1917 T Coupelet, convertible top version with oval quarter windows. Older restoration but very presentable. Wire wheels and Ruxtell axle. Hasnt been on the road in many years. An unusual chance to own a very rare and desirable T. Link to photo album with many photos. https://photos.app.goo.gl/viuVQ3...
