The shifter I have is brass and noticeably smaller than a Ruckstell. It is the part that bolts to the rearend housing (that I don't have). I will get my stuff out in the cool of the AM and take some pictures and see just what I have.

I use Sunbrella fabrics. They last a long time and are breathable. One can go crazy looking at all the swatches. I will try to post a picture of my car. This motor was in a 1925 TT truck. It was in a hot fire that burned all the wood, melted the aluminum fan hub, coils, warped the frame and depressed the front spring. It came out of a Taft, California oil field. It had a very serious bed on it- the "U" bolts are huge.

Bracket is for body mount- may or may not need it for your speedster. Beware of dips in the concrete- may look nice and level but can have dips in it.

I have a later- thick frame. It measures .187 thick . The front cross member is about .156 allowing for very little paint and rust. This is a '26/27 frame. I had a '25 frame that was the .187 thickness but, the cross members were the thinner- maybe the .125. These are both stock, unmolested frames.
