I can back up my Model T into a space with about 6 inches on either side. I also can go down or up hills slowly enough so that I can stop when I get to the top or bottom of them immediately. Haven't tasted any yet, I just make sure I soak all the items in hand sanitizer before I use them and wear a hazmat suit and a respirator before I work on it or drive it.

I just would make my own key, either with a metal cutting band saw, a file, or a grinder. The flat keys are fairly easy to make , once you know the general dementions.

Bringing this topic to the top again, my dad was a helicopter mechanic in the navy on an aircraft carrier. he said that all the bushings they used were burrilium copper.

Bought a new switch for mine, and it started smoking after a couple starts. Pried back the tabs with a screw driver and found that the thin contacts arcked. just finished rebuilding an original.

I currently have 5 keys that fit my ignition, they will slide in and out frely and are lockecd in when turned to mag or bat. it seems like the tumblers do not catch the outside like they should and just bounce over the bumps.

I found that although my key will still open my lock, the lock Barrel will still turn with a screwdriver stuck 1/16 of an inch into it.

Set for 1909-1925 includes a pair of new, large outer drums (11-3/4" diameter) that are used in conjunction with original stock drum for more braking power. They are self energizing and really stop a Model T.
