Russ Firstnow and speedometer...

I wanted to give a good shout out to Russ. He restored this speedometer for me, looks great and works well. We kept the original patina on the bezel so it would still match the pickup. Russ has been very helpful and communicative, an asset to the T hobby for sure.

Early TT

This photo comes from the same family member as the earlier post and shows her grandfather in the TT in 1941. The information we have is that he was delivering ice in the truck at age 9 or 10. He later drove over the road for a very long time in addition to do other work over the years.

Re: mystery transmission

Interesting, can that kind of transmission be coupled with a T? If so what are the benefits and or ratios?

Re: Historical Value

The only thing that really interests me is historical value. Monetary value should reflect true historical value - but that is not always the case. I have always found vehicles like this far more fascinating than restored examples. If you allow it - a car like this will tell you quite a story ........

That is great that you were able to have your T in the series along with the others, would not mind giving Paola Nunez a ride in mine.

Re: WTB Gas tank cover hinges

Do either of you know if these are the same hinges used in the 18 Roadster? They look different. I would like to find a source for those hinges myself for the 18.

Re: Driving a truck

I agree, I had a 24 TT with a Jumbo Giant, hi speed Ruxtel rear end, tall rear tires and boy could that thing move(till you came to a hill and had to gear down).

Re: Auction includes a few Model T's

Aww jeeze Steve. How I am I going to sleep now. There are some nice things up for sale there. That T with the disc. wheels is nice. They have the year incorrect on the pickup though. I see a Mack truck I would like to have.

TT not AA, very good workable condition. You can find more information on the National AA site showing the differences between the two beds.

Re: Fordson truck

That is certainly a nice piece of history. I would make space in my garage for it! I would very much like to see more detailed photographs of the truck. As others have noted, similarities to the TT and AA. I have had both and would like to see the inspiration for various parts. Thank you for sharing...

Re: Whats the Name of your T?

Mine is "Ang" or Angie, short for Angelo, the man who owned it. I don't use the name often but I think of it whenever I am around the truck. He was a very good friend.
