Re: Trailer parking for OCF

We've parked at the Fairlane mall parking provided by the Henry Ford. There's security on site but some simple locks don't hurt either. We put our TT in the trailer on Saturday night and drive the pickup back to the hotel and return Sunday morning we've not had any problems for the last 5 years or so

If you happen to come across a high speed set of gears in the mix I'd be very interested it them. Thank you.

Re: 1912 Christie fire truck on govdeal.com

I heard that Mr. Koorsen of koorsen fire protection bought it. I'm hoping to see it in the Indianapolis area sometime with his other pieces of fire department history

Re: TT Rear end issues

Keep an eye on eBay, I picked up a spare slow set on there last year for $100 bucks. I too dove into the abyss on rebuild, decided to live with the occasional seepage on the seals. Filled with a qt of Lucas gear oil and a qt of Lucas oil stabilizer. Been in there for 4 years now and pleased with it.

Our fire truck TT we cleaned the rims with a wire wheel, good primer coats and installed new flap and tubes with our new coker tires a couple years ago lots and lots of baby powder to keep rubber things from sticking together.
