I'm just looking for the standard lights, the C.M. Hall would be a bonus though. I know there wasn't a right side tail light. I want to hookup turn signals' The aftermarket right side bracket is still available and I figured I could reconfigure the license bracket as the piece in between.

Inner Axle seal.....???
I purchased an "extensively restored" T last fall. It's been driving me crazy ever since. What was done / replaced? What wasn't? I've come across several short cuts. Anyway, the outer bearings seem to be leaking quite a bit. first off it's a '14 and the rear end was filled to the plug opening, so I ...

While we’re talking measurements, is the outside to outside measurement on the front top irons (at front, just before the curve) the same as #2 and #3? Or does it go a little narrower or wider?

'26-'27 Roadster Top Irons
I'm trying to piece together a set of top irons for a '26 roadster. I've got the back two irons for both sides, but need to find the front two. I can only find photos of the top side of the irons, are they identical / interchangeable? Or are their fasteners on the bottom side? If fasteners, I'm gues...

I’m southwest of Toledo, in the band of totality. That was a neat experience, especially seeing stars at 3:11 in the afternoon. Did anyone else notice the closer the moon came to covering the sun the sunlight seemed to be more directly focused, kind of like you had a spotlight shining on you…… it wa...

Hey Tim, I thought you’d get a few more responses…. Supposedly traffic after the “event” is supposed to be a nightmare. In the path of totality the schools and a lot of businesses are closing. They’re expecting traffic jams after as everybody that came from wherever departs for home. They are also w...

Steve, Yes, I have the bronze body with an UNCRACKED bowl. I checked the carb book out in the catalog, but it didn't say if it covered all the carbs or just a couple. Holley G Rebuild
Are there any instructions or guidance on rebuilding a Holley G carb? Where the passages go etc. Loads of stuff on the NH, but all I can find on the G is taking the carb half way apart, cleaning up the parts a little and putting it back together.

Although it was my "modern" car, I had the same situation about 10 years ago. No battery problems, drove the car to work, went to leave for lunch, 100% dead...nothing, Turned out one of the plates in the battery dropped and did a total short internally. A new battery did the trick..

Hey Allan, The "passenger side" on your car sure looks the driver's side here in the USA. (I couldn't resist!) Is that a tool box on the running board? I've never seen a round one..... I like it.

Here's some pics of a of the top of a Bridgeport No 5 I happened to have off a pump. You can see how the top of the pump and the nut squishes the packing. The "antique" packing seems to look like it is oil soaked leather.

Holley G carb float… cork or modern replacement?
I’m rebuilding brass Holley G for my ‘14 touring. The carb I’m building has an OK cork float that needs sealed, but I thought I would replace it with the modern material float that’s available. First, the new float is about 3/16” thicker than the cork float. Is this to compensate for the flotation d...

Believe it or not, if you go on Walmart website you can get #10, 1 1/2"slotted wood screws, delivered in 3 days. Not for $7.00 for 100 though, they want $20 something. Their online site kind of runs like Amazon. I've bought quite a few "off the wall" things through their online site. The last thing ...

Re: Lee Thevenet Speedster build Question
The Rootlieb speedster kits use a torpedo hood which is 2" longer than the normal T hood. I'm guessing since these plans are based on the same speedster you're going to have to get a new hood. You also need to modify the firewall brackets to make things fit.

Look what I found! An old ripped up flap…. It says “20 x 4.40 APPLY THIS END FIRST”. It’s a 1/16” thick X 3” wide piece of rubber tapered down to nothing on the outside edges wrapped in a thin canvas type material.

Ken, the one on the left (second pic) is “upside down”, so the ribs should be on the bottom, which is hidden by the axle tube. Oops, I didn’t look at all the pictures…… I see what you mean!!

Thanks, next question….. trying to find an answer I saw mentioned there were a couple places on these pumps that used left hand threads. I’m guessing right hand on these, but did they by chance use left hand for some reason?
