Craig , I measured 4 1914 and two 1913 windshields and the measurement on all the 14s and one 13 is 1 1/2 inches. the other 13 is 1 3/4 inches.
the difference in the 13s undoubtedly must be due to the fact that there was 3 different brands of windshields for 1913

Steven, I have a block, engine number 7555361 which puts it April 28, 1923 I believe. It's a bare block with main bearing caps and bolts. I also have most all parts to make a complete engine, will sell just the block or a package. reasonable

Those things that look like valve stems on the wheel of the 1905 Ford are chaplets. They are wedges inside the tire that wedge the beads into the clincher rim. I believe it's a Victer. They are not that scarce, I have two pair of them. I doubt that it is for velie as it is smaller than I would expect see on that large a car. I am going to put one pair on my 1911 Brush. It's not correct,but I only have one correct head lamp for brush.

Keith, Yes you can see it all in one day. Friday is the main day, Saturday usually doesn't amount to much.. Thursday afternoon is set up, a lot of business is done in the parking lot before they let us in to set up. I will be there Thursday and probably half a day Friday.

That one is actually a head light. I can tell by the mounting bracket . All rushmores said search light on the chimney whether headlight or an actual search light. Matt, the first one is standard universal earliest style with the back side rolled for clincher tire about 1909'1910 later S U rims used 2 bead rings. I have three of the victer #1 headlights. None of them show any evidence of brass plating on the chimney which of course does not prove they were or were not not. I also have a pair of #1 side lights and 1 each of both styles tail lites

I have a rusty pair o Jon Brown s with forks if you don't find something better. They are rusty but not rusted through. Chimneys are good, doors are cracked and missing burners and burner stands. I can bring to chickasha If you want them

Rich I think there is a devise mounted on the engine mount that holds the crank upright. Probably aftermarket accessory. I have seen that before. The strips of glass in the headlights was fairly common in early headlights, especially in rushmores

An old timer I used to know said to use liquid black shoe polish. I don't know if it's still available now a days.
