Re: Ignition Timing Problems.
John FWIW here's my story and experience with the Anderson. When I got my '25 firetruck it had an original Ford roller timer. Ran ok, but not great. So I tried an Anderson. It would NOT fire on #3 piston for all the money on earth. I went thru all the timing crap etc., switched "back and forth" bet...

I tested the coils with a meter and apart from 1 they all showed 1.3 amps. I replaced the coil which was showing below 1.3 a...

lubrication on the crankshaft bearings
Hello Everyone I would like to ask for some advice regarding what is current for the crankshaft and rod bearings as far as cutting grooves in the babbit bearings for lubrication. Re: Engine Cylinder Sleeves
Hello John Thank you for getting back to me. The existing sleeve butts up to the piece which is at the bottom and it does not overlap it. I will photograph it and post it. I am wondering where and at what point does the sleeve goes into the water jacket and whether at the current joining point the w...

Engine Cylinder Sleeves
Hello Everyone My name is John and greetings from a very cold Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I would like to ask for your comments on a Model T engine which comes from a 1925 or 1926 Pick up truck. The vehicle came to me with a "locked up" engine. The engine had been reconditioned two or three years ago...
