To make the viewing area as large as possible, I made side curtains for my 1915 out of clear vinyl fabric Then I sewed a black vinyl frame on top of the clear vinyl.

Also here is a pattern I found on the forum for side curtains.

If you have incandescent bulbs in front turn signals and leds for rear tail lights and turn signals, you can use a standard incandescent flasher. The front inandescent bulbs will provide enough resistance for the flasher. This is what I use in my 1918 and 1915 Model Ts. 20241028_132314.jpg BTW, nice...

You can use a filament bulb for front turn signals, and led for rear brake, stop light, and turn signals. This way you dont need resistors. The front filament bulbs will provide enough resistance for the signals. The rear lights are used the most and leds in the rear will be brighter and less curren...

Ford sold the Model T as just a bare chassis. In the day, many folks either built their own pickup body or purchased a ready made body. Today you can still do either. Re: Steve Jelf Slight Setback

Some folks missed this thread and so they were caught unaware of Steve's situation. I am bumping this thread to the top so that they have a better understanding of what transpired several days ago. Steve is currently at Chicago's Northwestern Hospital which is ranked one of the best in the country. ...

Hey Steve: We are practically neighbors. I live about 40 miles straight west of where you are. I hope to visit you in person. I got a new knee Oct. 9, and it hasn't run in yet. In a week or two I hope to take the train into the city for a visit. A number of folks from The Midwest Chapter of MTFCI ar...

The Lincoln Hwy is Rt 31 when passes through Batavia, IL (a block from my house). In Geneva, IL the Lincoln Hyw becomes Rt 38 (Rosevelt Road). We have fair number of Model Ters in the area. I would join for a day.

I always wonder: who these people are, and what is their story, and what became of them. It is great that photographs are able to capture and preserve a moment in time. I think it
gives the subjects a degree of immortality.

Thank you for sharing these images.

Steve Jelf Go Fund me Funds

Does Steve know how to access the go fund me funds? Now that he is moving to rehab he could probably use some extra funds. I am suspect he would like to replace his lap top and such.

Re: Steve Jelf in bad accident

Repairing Steve's car for him is a very kind and generous idea. Of course no work can be done on the car until the insurance settlement. An acquaintance of mine had his T rear ended in an accident that was not his fault. The insurance paid for his car to be professionally restored. I hope Steve can ...

I suspect the float level is the answer. The carburetor adj rod seems happy where it is at. The car is not easier to start when it is warm.
