Re: Do you have a TT made December 10, 1925, or later?
-Steve- Our '26 TT has the serial # stamped on the top of the frame, passenger side, inside of the passenger door, I was able to trace it to 'build date' of April 26, 1926. Ironically, it has a replacement engine dated April 26, 1927. Dash pod is rectangular, so there apparently were some earlier pa...

Remembering 'logic' from a 4-year old... One of my grandsons was staying with us for a week-end, so I took him out to the shop for a while to keep him occupied. Being the 'pack rat' I can be, I'd kept a couple of wood pallets to take apart and use for some craft projects. To occupy my grandson, I to...

-Dave- You're still going to want to 'tie' the weight chains, so the chains won't come off their wheels/sprockets when you're transporting. Mr. Dewey was also right about the wind-up version. Check out the photos on this research my grandson did. Look closely at the underside of the bed. There is wood inside the bed-frame rails. -Hi, Gene- When I started at E.F. Hutton, (on 'Black Monday' yet), there was another Registered Rep cohort who worked there too. He had an egotistical 'nose problem', flaunting and bragging about his shiny super car. With his strut in tow, he offered me a ride.... "You've probably never ridden in so...

'What' did you get with your acquisition? If you have the bed's steel outer frame, it might be a good start. Photos would help. The steel stakes and hardware are harder to find. I kept the original bed pieces and side boards as patterns. Many helpful contacts are available.

-Larry, Mark, Steve- Years ago, I had gotten a complete new harness from good old J.C. Whitney. And color coding doesn't match... This is on the '26 ('27 engine). I've got a '26 version of Dyke's, which has a wiring schematic for T's. Five wires, not six. Looking for suggestions. Photo is of the old & new side by side.

Ethanol content may or may not cause a problem for you. Personally, I don't wish to take the chance, since 'non-ethanol' is available locally. Even my small engines seem to provide a reward of longevity without problems which I had experienced with ethanol content. "Aged" gasoline becomes a differen...
