Drawings with frame and body dimensions/measurements
I remember that someone had posted a printed drawing of a Model T frame and with body measurements within the Forum. Have searched back to 2007 without success. When a '24-25 T is acquired 'in a basket', re-assembly becomes tedious. Hopefully someone has a handle on those drawings and will share? (O...

Just when we may think an engine is beyond salvage, someone takes the time and effort to prove us wrong! Some frustration, but there are some helpful hints here, which I'm sure could answer some questions. The video is about 8:46 minutes long.

Thanks for the input, guys. It just seems to me that if the T (car) radiators had those 'extra' tubes of cooling, we might not have the often heard of cooling issues discussed here on the Forum. Don't know if we have an oddity or if it's just something normal. When looking over the radiator of the '26 TT, I was able to identify that it was five tubes deep, front to back. -Patriotic Tree-
We were visiting a daughter's family in Tucson. The adjustment in time zones hadn't caught up to me, when I got a photo of a 'Patriotic Tree' at sunrise. A thought to nicely share between Memorial Day and the 4th. Salute!

Re: 15% ethanol and T’s
-Jeff- If the ethanol is a concern for you, there are past threads which can explain how to separate the ethanol out from the 'real' gasoline. I have articles and studies to share if you need them. Personal experience is that NO ethanol works best for the longer term. My small engines on up have con...

Re: Installing new wiring harness
-Larry, Mark, Steve- Years ago, I had gotten a complete new harness from good old J.C. Whitney. Color coding then matched exactly to the wires when stripping back the old harness, which was highly likely 'original' with Ford printing, A couple of years ago, I trailered the TT to a client's body shop...

Re: What are these called? Available?
-Bob- From memory on our TT, those look just like the 'toe-riser' panels where the sections of floorboards fit in. Our floorboards are also complete originals. I've not needed to replace, so don't know if there is a vendor who has them. If you need pictures, I can go to the shop tomorrow and send pi...

Thanks, John! Will plan to call and stop by. My Grandson did find a link which shows the various wiring combinations with T's and TT's, which should help to 'figgur it owt'.... It might help others when encountering confusion with similar projects. https://nebula.wsimg.com/bfee1cac0d076311fdaa678a4e...

And color coding doesn't match... This is on the '26 ('27 engine). I've got a '26 version of Dyke's, which has a wiring schematic for T's. Five wires, not six. Looking for suggestions. Photo is of the old & new side by side.

Rust Dissolver?
Just caught a PowerNation video about radiator rust. They used a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water, then ran the engine for a while and drained for coolant refill. Also showed a rusty piece immersed for a couple of days, and the rust was gone. Do a good rinsing and take it from there! Am wond...

Re: Let's talk gasoline
Ethanol content may or may not cause a problem for you. Personally, I don't wish to take the chance, since 'non-ethanol' is available locally. Even my small engines seem to provide a reward of longevity without problems which I had experienced with ethanol content. "Aged" gasoline becomes a differen...

Robo calls... We all seem to get them, and they are the largest source of complaints to the FCC. With phone numbers often being 'spoofed', they become more difficult to block, so what are we to do? When something is rusted out, been cut up, gutted or stripped out, we're facing the crossroads of letting it rot away or to rebuild it as we may want it to be. That's especially true if it happens to be ours..... Just find that one with the 'original air' in the tires!

Re: 1925-27 rolling chassis to TT?
You'll want to identify 'what' you have. Measure your wheelbase for a start, also, the depth of the c-channel frame rails at the middle of the chassis are (thinking here) about 5" deep/tall, while the car and small truck rails are about 3" tall. You will quickly identify what you have.

Re: 1925-27 rolling chassis to TT?
-Hi, Ivaldes- Often misunderstood, "TT" is the nomenclature for "Ton Truck", indicating a more heavily constructed frame/chassis and load capacity. The wheelbase for a Model T was standard at 100", while the 'TT' wheelbase (at least for our TT stake-bed) is at 117" if I am remembering correctly. Man...
