My take on this is..
If your Hub fell out, then the hole in the center has been machined too big.. if the Spokes are tight to each other, and also at the Fello, then they are the Proper Length..

Just looks bad to the Reputation.. I Found http://www.woodwheels.com/contactus.html that says he can Straighten and ...

Re: Spokes, School me Please!
This morning I stuffed all the Wood back in with .030 Gasket Paper on the Spoke Surfaces so I can get this Car out of the Work Area while I make some Tooling.. Nothing Crazy about Swatting it all Together.. Rubber Mallet, and Back up Pieces.. I measured the ID of BOTH rear Wheels, Going Directly Rad...

The Multi-Taper and the .020 Aluminum Shims was getting me looking and Checking.. I'm thinking these wheels are Kelsey - Hayes.. and someone stuffed 'Standard Ford' Spokes in it, and that is what the BIG shims are all about.. However I measure 20 7/8 on most of the Inside Dimensions.. I'll get some ...

Re: Spokes, School me Please!
How do I know if the Spokes I'm purchasing are Straight Sided or Taper Sides.. I'm not talking about the 15 Deg Hub Taper, I'm talking about the 5 Deg Between the Spoke Faces..
I've not seen any listing that tells the Difference
I want the 5 Deg Spokes..

Follow Up: The NH Carb ended up to be Debris in the Idle Bypass to the T-Body.. I Drilled out the Brass Plug on the Manifold Mount Side, and Used a LONG .020 Drill I had, as a reamer/file to carv out the chunks.. And the Down Stream Port of the Idle Circuit was also caked with Crud.. I used the same...

I'm driving this '13 T around, getting a feel for it's bad habits that I need to address... The Only other T I Drive is Dads '24 TT that he set up Beautifully. I've been driving it about Twice a week for 8 Years. Short Town Trips, as well as Multi Hour Drives.. This '13 T belongs to someone else and...

Re: NH Radiator Choke Rod End Bend
That got me started..
I could not get the Long Tail Z Bend to start into Arm 'Eye'.. So I bent a little different.. A Little bit of a challange to thread through the Rad Hole, but a little wiggling and it goes..
This is a Short Arm NH. Dan's Pic looks like a Long Arm Carb.

Re: NH Radiator Choke Rod End Bend
OK..
I see it as a Long Tail 'Z' Bend.. That gets me started.. I'll play with welding rod before I bend the Actual Part.. The Brass Rod I got for it is REALLY Stiff to bend.. Mild Steel is Softer than this stuff..
Thanks Dan..

NH Radiator Choke Rod End Bend
I'm working on Larry's '13 T. It has a Short Arm NH Carb that I just Re-Bushed, and put the Choke and Throttle Shaft in from Langs. I'm now working on the Choke Rod that goes through the Radiator for Hand Starting. I've not seen anything to describe or show the proper bend to put on the Carb Choke e...

Innovate Wideband.. https://www.innovatemotorsports.com/xcart/mtx-al-analog-series-air-fuel-ratio-gauge-p-n-3855.html This is the replacement for what I used.. When we were d...

Re: New guy here....
Having read your last post, my I suggest. 'Drilled' Scat Crank, Ground to Model A Throw and Journal Size. Get rid of the Mag Coils, and install a VW oil pump on the back of the cam. This way you have a fully pressurized Oil System to keep the journals happy, and the added displacement of the Model A...

I now have Dads '24'TT.. I've put more miles on it than he did.. And he drove it a lot.. We got it with the 7:1 Gears and a Cast Iron Warford. After some swaping of parts, we ended up with a 26 Engine/Trans, Scat Crank, E-Timer 5:1 Gears, Rocky Mountain Brakes, and the OD1 Carb. Dad would do 48 MPH....

Help with 13 Headlights
I'm working on a '13 T that has been 'Converted' to electric Headlights.. It's not mine, but I could not say no to a fellow T'er in trouble. Presently it has late model Lamp Reflectors, with Bulb Sockets soldered to the reflectors. This looks like an Old Conversion. The Reflector just rattles around...
