Don’t let them skin the trailer at a temp considerably less than your normal ambient. If they skin it at 50°, by 80° it will wrinkle badly. Then they will tell you their warranty doesn’t cover environmental’ conditions. In Texas your temps vary widely (30-100). Coffin front end - if you are going to...

Another thing about Florida DMV and vehicle registrations. If you are listed as joint owners with both names on the title, put an ‘or’ between your names. Otherwise both parties need to sign. Just use their solvent, and make sure the surface is clean. After it sets, you can grind, file, drill, mill, or machine it any way you desire.
Works great for key ways, hollowed out holes, etc.

Yes, just select the 1941 and post in The comments what you really have, and they will call you to confirm the details. Very professional. If it’s on wheels - operational or not, they will accommodate you (within reason). Yours will be traveling with everything from 1900-current. Many high value veh...

Agreed, I believe this forum assumes the photo was taken in landscape mode(wide), not portrait, which is also better to view on a phone or tablet when turned sideways, or on a screen.

Jim when you get ready to look for equipment take a look at Northern tool - they handle the Hobart line, and you can look, and compare models. I’ve had one of Hobarts large Migs for over 40 years, and parts are easily available. I have since added their Tig, spool fed Mig for Al, and their plasma cu...

Re: What is a Model T worth today?
Had a guy wanting to buy ours after a big Tow Show.
Told him “ You dont have enough money”
His response was “You don’t know what I’m worth !”
Again told him he still didn’t have enough money.
He got a little pissed.
Then his buddy said “Bill, it’s not for sale !”
Wish I’d got that on video.

Just as a suggestion, you might want to try one of these from HFT (I know, I know it’s HFT) 55D159CB-71B8-4C27-8260-9105CFB9C3BA.jpeg as they can be mounted below the floorboard or behind the front of the seat remote from he battery. The only piece visible when you remove the key is the tip of the b...

Adjusted the bands, got the original owner back in the drivers seat, and went to the Daytona Turkey Run !
Great holiday weekend for a car show. Thousands of vehicles, but only a couple of T’s this this year.

And maybe another 150 +/- to finish the wrecker and tilt-bed. (Maybe I should shoot for 120, and make it an even 5000.

Damm, need one of those for my Mack - with a 4’ vertical climb in and out every time
http://www.cimorelli.com/mtdl/1914/1914 ... tarter.pdf
However, I doubt you could pull a recoil starter on it - especially from the seat.
(I won’t ever complain about hand cranking a T again.)

I have one of those masks made by the guy's wife, VERY nice, but amazingly, I get few comments on it. The odd thing, about a month ago someone showed up at the farmer's market with one on, and my wife didn't stop him to ask about his T interests ( I wasn't there, I would have chased him down!). I used vinegar..
After cleaning, blow it out and wipe it down good to clean off any loose gunk, then reclean again to get the best result.
I then clear coated it to try and extend the life.
