Re: A new DIY electronic coil tester.
Great news. I have it working. If I plug in a 5v charger to the arduino and 12v into the FACT it works! Thanks again Matt for helping out. Now I need to read up how to fix the double spark and I'll have 1 good coil

Re: A new DIY electronic coil tester.
Thanks Matt for the reply. No the spark LED isn't flashing. The other 2 LED's are on. I used my 12v 700A car battery. I have 5 FACT boards so I ordered a new Arduino and screen but same problem. I'm looking to buy a 240VAC to 12VDC power supply. How many Amps does the FACT need to operate? Thanks ag...

Re: A new DIY electronic coil tester.
Not sure what's going on. The coils were buzzing in the car but I can't get them to buzz with the tester. I replaced the capacitor in one of them so it's showing a pass but I cannot get any of them to spark. Any ideas? What tests can I do? I have tried with a 12v battery and the 6v (9.4v) T battery.

Re: A new DIY electronic coil tester.
Hi guys,
I was just going through the 3 pages of info and had a couple of questions.
1) Is it possible to make this with only an arduino and LCD?
2) Would it be possible for someone to send me the latest files to upload to JLCPCB please?
3) What is the latest program version?
Thanks in advance

Good morning everyone,
Has anyone taken some photos of their interior with only the "cards" installed and no material? Iv'e made the 2 door cards out of 3mm MDF and now I want to make the sides and back but was hoping for a photo to get an idea of how it should look.
Thanks in advance guys,

Re: Paint
Shawn, If you get it right, a really acceptable finish can be had off the gun with acrylic lacquer. I have never cut and polished my 1915 tourer or my 1912 van. If you can wait for warmer weather, the finish will be better. I used the best quality finishes I can find, and stick with their recommend...

Re: Paint
Thanks Allan,
The single stage I was looking at was 1:1 up to 1:1.5. I've also read to put the paint in some hot water before painting as we are still a bit cold in Melbourne Australia?
Did you cut and polish it or leave it as you sprayed it?
Thanks,

Painting hardware?
How is everyone painting their hardware (nuts and bolts)? I'm painting the car with all the fenders, running boards, hood and trunk off but what do I do with the hardware? just press them in a piece of cardboard and spray them when doing the car?
Also what paint are you using in the trunk and floors?

Re: Timber mounts
I just found the covers. I'll make those timbers. So, the only ones I don't have are "D" and I don't know where they go. Do I need them on the Coupe? Has anyone got a photo of where they go?

Re: Timber mounts
These pictures are perfect. So the Block "C" I have and just installed them. There is already a small block wedged in the front "cowl/foot well". I dont have the "D, B, F, E" blocks so and dimensions on those would be great and also where they go. The "T-1107" block I have but no idea where it goes....

Hi everyone, I need to make the wooden mount blocks but the ones that were in mine basically were sawdust and some were missing. Re: 1:1 timber plans?
Thanks everyone,
This was an imported US car. I'll see if I can find the dimension in the search.
