Re: Timing issue
My pinhole on the cam doesn’t go all the way through I swish it did that would make things a whole lot easier the brush is 180 no matter what I’m thinking I can maybe just put the wires on the timer or the coils backwards from what they should be for an easy fix

Timing issue
I’ve been having some issues with my T — you can check my last post for the full story if you’d like — but I feel like I may have finally pinned it down (at least I hope so). I decided to check the timing, and when I brought cylinder #1 just past TDC, there was no spark there. Instead, cylinder #4 w...

Re: Misfire on #1
Time to look at that timer. If it's a stock type roller timer, simply oiling it may help. If compression is OK and the timer is clean and in good order, and it still misses, you could have a weak valve spring, or perhaps an intake manifold gasket leak. I'd check the timer, since you've already chec...

Misfire on #1
My 26 coupe has beening missing on the #1cylinder. I thought maybe it was overcooling due to the new flat tube radiator so I put a thermostat in. That didn't fix it so here's a list of all I've done so far. I rebuilt the coil box, got new champion go sparkplugs and wires from Snyder's, got new wire ...

Starter troubles
I am now a not so proud member of the " I dropped a tool in the transmission like an idiot club." My dad and I took everything apart and after what felt like forever we finally fished it out. We were so happy after we put the hogshead and starter back on, we couldn't wait to start it up and go for a...

26' water outlet
Does anyone know where I could get my hands on a water outlet for a 26' in Michigan? I've tried Lang's, Snyder's, and a few other places but nobody has one.

Gas tank restoration kit
Has anybody had any luck with the gas tank restoration kit from Lang's? It's full of rust and if it wasn't a 26 I'd probably just buy a new tank, but seeing as how they don't make them and I don't live anywhere close to a radiator shop that could do it I'm just going to have to do it myself. I haven...

Lurching
My 26 coupe has started lurching while driving. Not huge lurches but enough to feel it. I don't think it has anything to do with the engine as it sounds fine. Any ideas?

Carburetor
My T is run rough and missing. I noticed that the carburetor leaks when parked unless I shut the gas off while it's running until it starves itself of gas. I'm pretty far from a mechanic and I'm still new model t's so any help would be appreciated.

Running rough
Last week I took my T around the block and hit a huge bump. It was big enough that we caught some air and I was cringing the entire time lol. I got out and made sure everything was ok and continued with my ride, after I was done I parked it for a week and now it's running very rough and exhaust is a...
