16940106967501309058004860304932.jpg Duel the mounting problem isn't so much the holes but where they are on the actual plate. It seems Bosch had two plates available. One for the NU and on for the DU. Being that the NU uses a slipring for firing and not the gear drive of the DU it is longer and th...

Re: Bocsh Magento Questions
Yes, these use a non-Ford front cylinder cover. Contact Kevin Pharis as he was reproducing this cover several years ago. Many early models of magnetos did not have the advance feature- Bosch DU4 mags were made both with and without the advance. The coupling for the mag side is pretty much a mirror ...

It looks like I have a clockwise rotation mag. And from what I can tell I probably need a counter clock wise one.

Bocsh Magento Questions
So recently I found a Bocsh magneto as well as a magneto front plate for a model t on ebay. They were seperate posts but in doing research on the mount I found that the mount was oringally sold with the type NU4 magneto so I decided it was smart to purchase both. Both pieces are in great condition a...

Re: A 21 yr old wants my '23
It is really interesting to read the views of members on forums for classic/collectible cars, especially of mtfca and mafca. Most of the thoughts come from people in their midlife or retirement age that have owned at least one if not currently in possession of multiple cars for many many years. To m...

Re: BUSINESS FOR SALE
Mark, I think I emailed you before about this but if you ever want to revamp your site or make a modern online store front for Chaffin's garage, I would be very interested in volunteering my time on that front. Glad to hear that we are not losing one of the most complete Model T part manufacturers t...

Re: Revitalizing Chickasha Pre-War swap meet
I'm afraid a large part of the decline in attendance for both shoppers and sellers is due to a shift toward internet sales. If that's the case, I don't know what can be done to counteract it. I don't blame old timers dying, because old timers have always died. Some will claim there's a decline of i...

Re: Fully rebuilt Moore auxillary transmission FS
Hello, do you happen to have any measurements or detailed drawings/pictures of the rear section? I know it uses stock model t parts but I need a better look at the rear plate that bolts to the T rear end.

Re: Auxiliary Transmissions - Light Muncie, Heavy Muncie, and Moore
Hello, I actually bought the Moore transmission from y'all's table yesterday and I figured I'd give an update. I opened it pretty easily and every part seems in perfect condition. Now If only I could find part diagrams for it, gonna be fun getting the proper bearings.

Thanks for your input Wayne. Yeah its real nice blank slate. Which is kind of the problem. I have and idea of what I want to do if I choose speedster but Langs has so many good choices for bodies its hard to pick. As to the year. I have checked the number on the engine before against the info availb...

But I have come to a dilema, what do I build it to? Do I go low buck period lo...
