I have had good results by using Aviation Fuel Valve Lube (very lightly)/on sealing gas line fittings from Langs.

My tube had a pin hole, an unopened tube of glue & the old method of preparing the area, heated etc; wouldn’t stick. Went to my local tire shop, was told we don’t patch, buy new tube. Had a good time, met lots of T friends. There was lots of rusty, used and even new parts ,and Gaslights vender was there with several tables of new parts.Good food / parking & friendly/ Family atmosphere .

Darin, I have been on a few tours with your Grandfather Roger, he was as interesting T person. Glad you have got it back on the road & enjoy it like he did.

I had to do same as Dan did on mine. On another one it leaked about 3 inches up the leg with many minute holes in a 2 " area, couldn't see them but I could feel the gasoline , covered area with epoxy & still running.

I have the modern axle seals & immediately after a long drive I removed the diff: oil plug to check the oil level and heard a puff of air exit. That was enough for me to install a vent.
