How to do a roadster top wrong

Recently I ran across an ad for a ‘25 Roadster and it struck me that this wasn’t the first time I’ve seen the top done wrong and in the same manner. Rear iron/bow too far forward and middle iron/bow too far back.
No way to correct it without installing a new top!

Question: My ‘20 Touring has the 5 piece back section and is an August 30,1920 build date. I have an old title from Illinois from 1948 stating it as a 1920.

As you look straight down at them they have a crown or raised bead along the outside edges, the area between where the carriage bolts are is flat.
The below photo probably shows this more clearly.

Yes, I have an old original title document from March 1946 that came with the car that has the motor number(VIN) on it. Using the information in Bruce McCalley’s “Model T Ford” book it is an August 30, 1920 build.

‘25 Pickup Bed Ford Stamping Question

Where on the factory ‘25 Pickup beds would I find the Ford stamping in the metal? I would think somewhere on the mounting brackets? I have an early bed(without Ford script embossed on the tailgate)it’s very nice with about 65% original paint and the rest light to medium surface rust. I would like to...

This tag is located inside of the door jamb on the drivers side rear door of my ‘20 touring on the bottom sill towards the front.
