I have 4 cars with disc brakes. I had a 5th car with disc brakes that I sold.. If you drive in traffic disc are much safer. When I did my 17 T it had one. But, my 27 had two. Both will work. You will need a new felt packing to seal the grease.

I took a piece of popular and bent it around and screwed in place. Popular was the original type of wood used in my 1916 touring.
