I got scammed by an individual calling himself 'bobby Cornerstone' after posting a WTB here on the forum. My bad for trusting AND probably for posting my personal email address. . . . . . . .

Well, I got scammed by a 'gentleman' calling himself 'bobby Cornerstone' that probably doesn't know what a transmission band IS.

Probably a major goof on my part to post my personal email address in the ad, which, I guess, invites scammers who aren't members of the forum to play. . . . .

Does anybody have just one NOS narrow cotton band liner? My brake band is toast, but the 1 and reverse bands are in great shape, and I really would rather not have to switch the transmission over to kevlar or wood.

Update: I was able to source enough parts from contacts from friends and Marketplace to build myself a whole new/old rear axle assembly, and my Ford is back in service. Thanks to everyone for your advice and good wishes!
