Re: Ac brake adjustment
Good day everyone, I believe my AC brakes are the reproductions. I used Cudamans eight steps. I did adjust the brake rod length to get the lower half of the brake shoe right then used the adjustment nut to get the upper part of the brake shoe right. Drove the car yesterday and the brakes worked fine.

Re: How to make a T radiator leak
Good day everyone, I picked up my 1911 radiator from Mel at Ferndale Auto Radiator Repair yesterday. This is a great place for vintage radiator repair. Mel has been in this business for over 50 years. His business advertisement is “We fixed your grandfather radiator.” It was a five hour drive for me...

Re: Ac brake adjustment
Good day everyone, I got to play with my AC brakes yesterday. I found something interesting that I didn’t expect. Not sure I can describe it but I’ll give it a try. The AC brake shoe mounting bolt divides the shoe into an upper half and a lower half. The upper half is attached to an adjusting nut. T...

Re: How to make a T radiator leak
I was advised to make the radiator mounting holes a little larger. The T frame can flex and crack the radiator near the mounting holes. A slightly larger hole seems like a good idea.

How to make a T radiator leak
Good day everyone When installing a model T radiator, don’t tighten the two mounting nuts then try to install the support rod by tilting the radiator forward. The support rod (goes from the firewall to radiator) should be threaded in first then tighten the two hold down bolts. Seems like I always ‘l...

Can anyone recommend someone that can repair my 1911 bulb horn?

1911 bulb horn repair
Good day everyone
My 1911 touring bulb horn doesn't honk anymore. The bulb is good and I can hear air rushing out when I squeeze it.
I guess it needs a new reed. How do I replace it? Is it soldered or screwed on? Do I have to remove the entire horn or does it just pull apart?

Re: Proper Ruckstell shifting procedures
Ok I'm a little confused as usual.
The manual being discussed is ‘ Glover E Ruckstell and the Ruckstell axle’ by Glen Chaffin? Or is there a mtfca manual? Ive looked for a mtfca manual on this web site but can’t find one.

Good day all Im new to model Ts. Just got my first on a couple of weeks ago. How do I shift a Ruckstell? I got my first model T running two days ago. It’s a 1911 with an original coil box. When I turn the key from battery to mag I get a spark plug type shock. Is that normal?

Good day everyone
Rubber tipped needles need a small clip that attaches the needle to the float tab. These clips were used on most all oem production carbs. Without the clip viton tipped needles will eventually stick. Sometimes tapping on the bowl with the wood end of a hammer will jar it loose.

Re: Is the price of a cars increasing in value??
Supply and demand will always play a role in the value of something. But the general inflation we have now is caused by the government printing to many dollars. If the government printed twice as many dollars, each dollar in your pocket would be worth 50 cents. Politicians always want to spend more ...
