Rubes triple twist horn for sale

I have an unrestored Rubes Triple Twist Horn For Sale. It has no cracks in the brass, but the usual bumps and dents. All easily removed by the folks that restore these. The threads are perfect on the tube connection and the Rubes stamping on the body is still nice and deep. This is exactly the same ...

Jones Speedometer for sale

I’ve got a Jones speedometer that I acquired with another car I purchased. Researching the Speedometer Book by Russ Furstnow, it appears to be a Model 28. It’s all brass and in perfect shape, no dents or cracks. It has the brass speedo cable and measures 48” end to end. The book says it’s for Fords ...

Hi Clay, seems this isn't really a 15 horn as it has the wrong mounting bracket and it's missing the elbow that should connect the horn tubing. I can offer you $100 plus cost of postage as I have parts horns to make yours work. Thanks for you consideration. Bob

Hi Fred, I think what your describing is trying to remove the universal from inside the ball which is pinned to the drive shaft. If this is the case, you'll need to drill out the pin which has been peened from both sides. Try and find the center and drill it out in small steps working your way up to...

They are great, I have them in every antique car I own. Even if you don’t drive fast you can feel the difference. I just installed them in my Model N and it only took 30 minutes to do all 4 wheels. Generally you must use one of those vibrating engraving tools on the valve stem to keep them from plug...

Great History, I bet if you asked any of the NASCAR Boyz if they'd drive one of these cars today the answer would be NO! These guys had to be crazy, no protective gear and very poor steering let alone tires that were never subjected to those kind of speeds. WOW!

1st let me say..... I HATE polishing brass! I have clear coated everything EXCEPT for the radiator. Why not the radiator, if you ever need to make a repair it could be very difficult to clean for a good solder joint!!!!

I'm with you Jimbo, if it is truly original, then by all means try to preserve it for others to use as a benchmark for the ones that do get restored. It is so hard to find a REAL un-restored car! BTW, you really know how to stir the pot!
