I have one I bought from a tool truck (Snap-on/Mac/ Matco/Cornwell), 40 plus years ago. It was more than $25.
Great tool to have, as it also removes several types of windshield wiper arms, I used it last week to get a corroded arm off

I saw this on the forum several years ago and used cotton rope/ twine for this wheel.
I applied spar varnish, as I had a can handy.
As you can see, it turned the cord a light shade of yellow.

I have had a 6V on mine for about 2 years. It has been trouble free. I had a rebuilt generator on it and then the cut-out failed. This was the quickest fix for me. Chaffins had it in stock and shipped to me in just a few days.
