The first photo in front of a tree, is the famous Hollow Tree in Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC. This explains why the Model T has right hand drive.

Mitch, in 1963 the Antique Car Museum in Charlemont Massachusetts featured half-scale Model T’s for kids to drive. These little cars are a great way to get kids involved in our hobby.

Mitch, I know there are several in Australia.
They even had them at Gilltrap’s Auto Museum in Coolangatta. When Gilltrap's opened in September of 1959 on Australia's Gold Coast it featured half-scale McDonough Model T replicas for the kids to drive.

Re: KIDS CORNER: Model T's For Kids - Teach your grand kids about our wonderful hobby!
The kids corner is a great idea Mitch. Don't forget to included McDonough Power Equipment because in 1959 they introduced the half-scale Model T's for kids. Some McDonough's Model T replicas were sold in amusement parks to teach kids how to drive but many more were sold as presents to help get kids ...

Re: Researching the 1909 Ocean to Ocean Race
Eric, I found this old postcard on eBay and it says Ocean to Ocean 1909. I don't recognize the names of the people, but the flag on the car seems to say New York.

Re: Shrinner Model T help
Will, as requested here's a photo of the what the original engine on your car would have looked like (3hp Briggs 81302). Notice, Tin Lizzie's built before 1963 used round Oil Bath Filters. Tin Lizzie's built after 1963 with 3hp Briggs engines used kidney shaped foam air filters.

Re: Shrinner Model T help
Since these were made by same people that made Snapper I have wondered if the power train was not something used on Snapper mower? Anyone know? Hi Dan, yes both McDonough Power Equipment (1959~1965) and later Crue-Cut Manufacturing (1966~1979) used that same style transmission for there half-scale ...

Re: Shrinner Model T help
Hi Will, You just purchased a 1959~1965 McDonough Tin Lizzy. If you look on the back frame of your car (left side) and you will see an aluminum nametag with stamped 6-digit code. That code will help tell you the exact year it was manufactured. The original engine that came on early cars like yours w...
