Re: RIP Jay Klehfoth
Very sad news. I was fortunate to get to know Jay and Barbara and tour with them years ago when we were members of the Dallas T club. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as well.

Re: Help! My LF Headlamp Won’t Turn On
Can you feel/see the bulb depressing the contactsin the thimble when you turn the bulb? As stated by Norman above I have had to build up the solder contacts to get a good electrical connection. With the power on and the thimble exposed attach a test wire to the neg side of the battery and touch the ...

Check that the thimble the bulb mounts in for a good ground. I usually solder a wire to the thimble and connect to a direct ground.

Ron,
The new Warfords are made by Layne Machine Works in Kansas city MO. Their phone number is 816-231-3268. I am under the impression that there are a couple of ratios available. I could be wrong. Call them and ask.

Harold,
The Denver area has a fairly active T Club and plenty of guys that are great assets. I am attaching the web site for the club. My e mail is paulmikeska AT yahoo.com. Hope you join and enjoy the fellowship of the T community.

If the throttle was closed when you did the test you will get low readings. The throttle and choke need to be wide open while doing the test.

A new tank is about $170.00. About twice the cost of coating the tank that will fail some time down the line. If it was mine I would just buy a new tank. YMMV.

Re: tripple gear bushings conversion to needle bearings
A few years ago I drove up Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park in my 14 Touring with a few other crazy folkss. All of the cars had ruckstell rear ends except one. It was a 26 or 27 Touring and was loaded with 4 full sized adults. It also had Dan's needle bearings in the tripple gears. T...

Re: Have you ever made a stupid mistake?
Well...I rebuilt a rear end on a T that I was restoring with all new parts including ring and pinion gears. It was many years later when the car was finished. I took it for its first drive without realizing that I had never added oil to the rear end. Dumb and costly!
