Check out Lock-N-Stich in Turlock, CA. If they can’t fix it, nobody can. They have told me before that exhaust manifolds can be particularly sensitive subjects. What a great car. Wish I had an extra $23.5K laying around. While the top boot may be repro, at least IT is CORRECT in that it has what I refer to as the "infamous flaps" on either side. So many repro's do not, I even paid the extra $125 to Classtique to have it put on my '13's top boot. Labor inten...

Bit "up there" at $25K but I bet he'll negotiate. I do hope tho this is an indication that the earlier cars are "holding up" their values!
Especially since HCCA has an '11 Touring for only $39K!

Re: 1911 Torpedo top-to-windshield fit question
Not an expert, but having had one a while back that I sold, the lower windshield on the red car looks to be "flatter" than the blue one? Could be an optical delusion tho. But yeh, sumpin aint right? Isn't this the same car that's been on Hemmings for like ever, starting out at around $40K? If so, ma...

Re: WTB 30 x 3 1/2 Firestone Non-Skid All White Tire
Urgently Needed. Need someone’s help. Problem is Al, first, not many people use smoothies...let alone have one laying around in a wrapper. Second, white tires are getting harder to acquire as Vietnam just doesn't make that many runs. I would suggest biting the bullet for now and go back to your ven...

By taking the top half of our small 6 foot artificial (of course!) tree apart and turning it into a "table top" tree.

Not to open a fresh can of worms on an old subject ( I’m going to anyhow ) I’ve ordered a new flat tube radiator for my roadster pick up from brass works , my engine currently has a water pump , question is , will the water pump restrict the cooling capabilities of the new radiator and should I rem...

I would think that the "rougher" looking one is original.
Either way they both sure are pretty! Too bad they're hidden underneath the tank where no one can see em!

Re: Does anyone have an alternator conversion on their T?
I have had one of their's on my touring for almost 4 years with no issues. I'm not putting 1000s of miles on each year, but it's been doing just fine. My lead-acid battery shows a consistent charge and I have had the same battery for as long as I have at the alternator. Again same here with no adap...

Does anyone have an alternator on their T? Buckeye sells them and states this on their website about them: "The 12-volt version is capable of 80 amp output; the 6-volt version is capable of 40-amp output" Model T's only have 12 AWG wiring in the charging circuit... and its 100 year old wiring to bo...

Re: A Very Hot Generator
The cutout has evidently failed. DO NOT run the engine anymore until you ground the generator terminal to the generator frame with a short piece of wire. That will disable the generator and the engine can then be run without damaging the generator until another cutout can be obtained, but there wil...

Thanks Ron.
Now I wonder how many of this style was/is out there? And are they the same size as their Heinze counterpart? Just thinking as to potential spare coils if needed. I have one spare Heinze...might be nice to have another or two of either so long as the contacts mate.

Depending on where you are and who you deal with, this would be a pretty good deal for an offset tank, assuming what you see in the picture is actually what you get. Over here they won't touch em. Some places I guess still do.

Honestly, I don’t use reverse much other than backing out of the garage or parking space. So, it could need some adjustment. I will pull the cover and see how it looks. That is likely the issue. Just dont over tighten them like some do, then blame the Kevlar for a cracked drum. The Kevlars didn't d...
