If you drive in a parade set the lever in neutral. This way, if your foot slips off the low pedal you won't stall the engine and possibly have to get out of the car to wind 'er up again (embarrassing) or lurch ahead and take out the boy scout troop clowning around in front of you (even more embarras...

Seems to me that the space inside the gas tank will be so rich with gas fumes that you'd almost have to insert pure oxygen to achieve a combustible mixture. When using one of these adapters be sure to short out the spark plug wire while it is disconnected. Running the engine with the wire just dangling could damage the coil.

Also, I don't think the T engine is going to pump the 55 psi needed for 30x3 or 30x3 1/2 tires.

Hi, James. What Scott said. For temporary you might slip a piece of 1" pvc pipe a few inches long down over the handbrake handle so it will hit the dash and prevent the lever from going forward into high gear. Please don't ask how I know this. :)

Re: OT period whatizit?

It's a Rolls self sharpening razor. Made by Rolls Royce I believe. I have a nos one still in the box, including a spare blade. Closed up, it looks like a sardine can. Remove one side of the can and you can hone the blade just by racking the handle back and forth pushing the blade along the hone. In ...

Re: Whats the Name of your T?

I'm not into naming vehicles but when I got my first T, a ton truck, I decided to give it a name. Well, Lizzie didn't seem too fitting for a truck. I mentally eliminated a few others, Henry T. Phord, Ton-a-Junk, The T-350, etc. Everything just seemed too quaint. Finally settled on Tuff TT. It'll gra...

Re: Looking for a good time near Orlando on Wednesday...

Howdy, Chris. For car minded people I couldn't recommend anything better than the Museum of Drag Racing. Big Daddy has two museums, one dedicated to drag racing and the other is classic cars, hot rods and many other neat things to see. Picture a giant siren powered by a Chrysler industrial hemi-engi...

Re: battery cable connection

For a quick fix you can drive a nail or a screw between the terminal and the post. Wouldn't recommend it for the long haul.

Re: Florida Flivvers contact info?

Hi, George. I am not a current member but was for many years. Try this, go to floridaflywheelers.org. In there you should find some info on the Flivvers Antique Car Club. Maybe you can also find contact info for someone who can give you what you need to know. Good luck. Bob

Absolutely, Rich. I've given many short rides to people, especially kids. Allowed many folks to sit in it for pictures, etc. That's the best thing we can do with these old junk Fords.

Re: The Adventures of Kalamity Dick - Fact or Fiction?

I am very relieved that the saga of Kalamity Dick was able to cross over the recent divide. ;) I was told this for the truth so it probably ain't, that Mad Dog, in addition to his reward of $1.68 from Piggly-Wiggly, was also allowed to check the store room and help hisself to any dented cans of Spam...
