Thanks for all the input! I'm going to forgo the bumpers and go with a Warford instead.

I would like to install bumpers on my 24 Fordor and was wondering if the ones sold at Lang's for the 26-27 would work. I was going to use the split bumpers on the rear. Has any one done this?

I just rebuilt my generator and was wondering when I set the third brush do I hook the ammeter wire directly to the output post bypassing my fun projects regulator?

I have these two covers that was in a pile of parts that I had. They measure 8“ x 4 1/2“ I don’t know of any T that would use them.
Are they even for an automobile?
If you have an idea what they might fit let me know.

I’ve been doing a lot of small odd jobs on my Fordor. Today I got the battery installed, new wiring harnesses, finish rebuilding the starter, and put my headlights together. Thanks everyone, lots of good information passed down. Will definitely remove the motometer. Vandalism is another problem. I guess I’ll just take the obvious precautions and keep my insurance paid up.

Although my four-door is not quite ready for the road but it will be soon, I plan to drive the car quite a bit with overnight stays and I’m wondering how safe is the car in the hotel parking lot, has anyone had any experiences with the car being stolen or something?

I started to rebuild my generator but ran in to a problem right off the bat. I did not have the correct tool to remove the field pole screws and I made matters worse by using the same method as the last guy, a punch and hammer!
