What are the brands of the tubes?"

No brand markings just the size marking. These were purchased recently from current Model T vendors who are not at fault for the disparity. I suspect the tubes are foreign made. I have used Hartford tubes, very good quality.

Before I pumped in 5 psi, the tubes were similarly disparate in physical size when recently received new out of the package.

Recently purchased from vendors. All marked 440/450-21. Same air pressure on all. All different. Am amazed at the disparity.

To eliminate the brakes, disconnect the brake rods. Jack up the rear and try to turn the wheels manually. Should give you an idea which way to go from there.....Rear on jacks...wheels turn freely.

Do you have auxiliary brakes? They are self energizing, if adjusted on the tight side they will drag a little going forward and release in reverse. That has been my experience."

Was from a taillight but am applying it to a sidelight for a different project.

My inherited 1922 T uses a distributer instead of conventional coils. It has a new 12V battery. The engine was started and was running for 10 minutes. It sounded good. THEN IT QUIT.
