Wayne these are Ford brackets but you are somewhat correct. From some research they appear to be for later 21-25 bodied touring (rear pivot) and or roadster with the wood bodies and metal seat frame.

Does anyone know what Ford models this KR Wilson key cutter would work for? I don’t think it was used for T. Also is there a code book for the use of this machine. I have several plates with indexing # according to key manufacturer. Any help or advice would be appreciated. 1F5F8E6E-ACD0-4269-B342-5E...

I did not take any other picture. Basically it is a block of steel with that threaded screw through the middle. The screw is about 3/4 inch diameter. The steel is about 3 inches x 11/2 x 1 inch thick. The screw is about 3-4 inch long with a bevel cup on the end. I can’t figure how it can pull a perc...

She had to this stuff put on the car early on by the dealer AJ List in Tyrone PA. As you can see on the link above there is a lot of the accessories shown. A...

Larry,
There is nothing stamped on the riser nor any numbers and or letters stamped in the wooden front cross member under the seat. As I had mentioned to you some of this was replaced years ago and I think the numbers were lost to history.

Hi Richard,
Due to the logistics and the size of this meet we will not have our manned consignment table at this special event. We will consider it for our regular spring meet in May.
Thanks for asking

Re: Common Wrench: Unusual Ford Script
I think these wrenches are cast steel and a supplier used an existing wrench as a pattern which has left what is called a ghost mark in the sand mold. The supplier probably was required to use the current approved logo. You find this in cast iron skillets from time to time when a new foundry would t...

Who can guess the purpose of this accessory? I know because I found it in its intended spot on a Model T Ford. It is made of brass and felt lined.

Re: Anybody From Va, Licenceing Question
If you are using antique tags provided by the DMV you are required to display front and rear. One exception to this is if you register to Year of Manufacture plates you are only required to display as provided in that year. Some early years it think 1914 and earlier may have only had one rear plate.

Richard,
If I were you I would attend Tuesday morning as that will be your best bet to see the most stuff.
I have not had any vendors say they would be here late.
Thank you and hope to see you at the meet

Re: Is this too dangerous to keep as is?
If the wishbone orientation is incorrect and not installed correctly then the answer to the tittle and question of this thread is absolutely YES!!
The gap between the drag link and wishbone is far less worrisome period!
Please be safe.

Plus the wishbone looks to be installed upside down. If it is ,flipping it would change the gap on the drag link and set the proper caster on the spindles. It appears the spindles are straight up and down or slightly leaning forward on top. Just something to think about.

Fall Carlisle swap meet ends on Oct 4 and normally many of the vendors would migrate to Hershey the following week. Hershey...
