Re: FS - Runabout top iron body brackets- pair Brass Era

Wayne these are Ford brackets but you are somewhat correct. From some research they appear to be for later 21-25 bodied touring (rear pivot) and or roadster with the wood bodies and metal seat frame.
Anybody else know exactly?
Thanks

There is nothing stamped on the riser nor any numbers and or letters stamped in the wooden front cross member under the seat. As I had mentioned to you some of this was replaced years ago and I think the numbers were lost to history.

I think these wrenches are cast steel and a supplier used an existing wrench as a pattern which has left what is called a ghost mark in the sand mold. The supplier probably was required to use the current approved logo. You find this in cast iron skillets from time to time when a new foundry would t...

Re: Anybody From Va, Licenceing Question

If you are using antique tags provided by the DMV you are required to display front and rear. One exception to this is if you register to Year of Manufacture plates you are only required to display as provided in that year. Some early years it think 1914 and earlier may have only had one rear plate.

If the wishbone orientation is incorrect and not installed correctly then the answer to the tittle and question of this thread is absolutely YES!!
The gap between the drag link and wishbone is far less worrisome period!
Please be safe.

Plus the wishbone looks to be installed upside down. If it is ,flipping it would change the gap on the drag link and set the proper caster on the spindles. It appears the spindles are straight up and down or slightly leaning forward on top. Just something to think about.
