Re: An interesting video of a European Model T journey

Mario. The 1915 model T is not stock. The engine is modified with pressure oil system, new crank and oil slingers.
Just watched this video. Its in Dutch so I can't understand the subtext, but the video shows some modifications being done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUL21Xr2-bc

I´ll just pass on a good advice someone gave me. Make sure your distributor has a good ground. Attach a cable from the distributor body to somewhere on the engine block.

I got the front plate version in my T. I did replace the shaft. Think I bought it from Snyders. Different shafts for the front plate and the clip on types. It´s been in the car for many years, and I'm very pleased with it. Works incredibly well. Haven't come to fix my weak magnets yet so I stick to ...

Re: 26 Roadster cab/seat help

Hi again. Been thinking about the mystery hole (the big hole above the door latch striker . Could it be for a rubber "cushion" or rubber knob to keep the door from rattling ? Something like the rubber knobs in the lower left and right side under the turtle deck lid. Just a thought.

Re: 26 Roadster cab/seat help

Yes the big hole has a rubber grommet in it. And you are right about the wood behind that hole. My pillar seems to miss on smal hole just above the latch .
