Thanks Dan and Dave, we just got a harbor freight not too long ago so I will go and check out what they have, I have always just put a nut on the axle flush and wacked it with a BFH, I know thats bad but its worked so far, thats the way my great grandfather taught me! he could tune a coil by ear.

Thanks for all the replies, mine is a 1914. I tried the bent wire method Wayne suggested and it was right on the mark, I don't know the condition of the oil or the rearend yet. the car was in a museum from 1935 till 1970 when it was sold in a auction,, the man that bought it painted the body and fen...

wasn't ready to order tires yet, but going to now. Has anyone bought the 21in economy tires from Summit and the cheaper tubes? Going on a unrestored but running and driving Model A that wont be drove a lot.
