As I get older I need to make It easier to work on Model T axles. I have used the orange cart for many projects over the last 50+ years. The blue parts are newly made to hold Model T rear axles.

Scott, The shaft is a left over 1" PH 4140 with 16 TPI. The fingers are scraps of A2 and hardened by eye. The spring is from a ballpoint pen and too soft, so I have to wind one from piano wire. Hi, In response to your questions about the holes in the door jam, there Is wood on the inside to stiffin the door jam and act as a tack strip for the cardboard interior panels. If you have more questions or need more pictures let me know.

Hank, You continue to prove there is more than one way to solve a problem.

As a machinist for most of 60 years, I'd super glue the broken parts together and put the parts on my tracing mill and make a copy in steel.

I have had great success with a heated ultrasonic cleaning tank using Evapo-rust. It dissolves the rust (Iron oxide) leaving steel, Iron and aluminum unharmed. I used to use reverse electrolysis (and still do for large Items like engine blocks but this Is the best way to remove rust on smaller Items...

Mark, My other car Is a Mini Cooper and if I pull up to the white line at the intersection I can,t see the stop/go light most of the time, so I use a Traffic Light finder with great success, try one they are cheep and work well. With your top up It will serve you well.

Measure as many places as you can as I have seen core shift were one end of an original head was less than 3/16 at the back and the front was more than 5/1...

Bill Everett, I just looked at the puller and there are no markings on It. I purchased It from HF many years ago just for this purpose because I could not find my old ford hub puller. It did a good job at a cheep price.

Just finishing a customer built motor with 15 domed nickle plated bolts in a Z head. It lost a head gasket seal with 3 striped and 4 soft torqued at 30 lbs, that's almost half of the 15. Stewart, I have a nice 25 Chassis with 4 fenders, 2 running boards, 2 aprons, hood, grill shell, stearing column, light bar with buckets and lots of miscellaneous parts, or just the Chassis. none of the above are perfect but are restorable. If Interested send me a message.

To fix leaky or sloppy peddle shafts in hogs heads I have bored out the holes and pressed in bronze (not brass) bushings to tighten them and used O rings to keep them from seeping. I have done dozens for my customers with 100% success.

I gave up trying to work with my clutch drum tool

After fighting with the removal of a rather difficult (stuck) drum I decided to make my own that would remove any clutch drum. The ford tool was very old and I had to straighten it back to the original shape way to many times. This one will last.

I have always used a reamer, It's muck quicker and more acurate. The hone shown would work as long as you only need to remove a small amount of material, go with slow RPM to keep it round and stroke it in and out to keep it straight.
