Re: Oh, no!
Photo #9 appears to be a "1919" pillarless coupe. Can one assume it has electric start since there are no cowl lamps? This is the second such "1919" coupe I have observed in Tom's posts. Thanks Tom. I enjoy your photos!!!

I had exact issue of backfiring, sputtering, etc. on throttle acceleration with my Model T speedster. My car runs the earlier Type 31 Rajo crossflow head. ...

Re: Luray question
Diesel fuel is available along the I81 corridor in Carlisle / Harrisburg PA area, which is warehouse / distribution central heaven. However prices range from $3.19 to $3.49 per gallon. I plan to attend Luray and will leave PA with a full tank (diesel). It is about 150 miles to the flea market from m...

Bruce.....I thank you for taking the time and effort to share your rear brake upgrade. Your results look very carefully executed. Certainly has to provide a marked improvement to the standard "push and pray" Ford foot brake......Regards, John

Bob,
So sorry for the loss of your dear friend. It is very obvious he meant a lot to you by your dedication to drive your model T to his funeral during a snow storm as a sign of great friendship. I am sure your friend would have greatly appreciated your loyalty.......Regards, John

Re: McLaren Wires and Universal T Drivers --- Years of Tire Trouble
One thing I noticed that will cause the problem you are having is the use of rubber stems. I believe you can eliminate your cut stems by changing to metal stem tubes with bridge washers, locking nuts, dust covers. I run Firestone (black) tires with metal stem tubes on 30x3-1/2 Buffalo wheels using 6...

Re: Virginia State Inspection
Good 'ole Virginia, the communist state as the truckers refer to it. I too used to live in Virginia until I went off to college in 1968. I guess the cop would prefer you replace the Plexiglas with original plate glass like it originally had back in the day? Do you have a windshield wiper? I know whe...
