Re: Gas tank cleaner?
Your right Mark, the baffles make it tough. Two quarts of cleaner plus two gallons of hot h20 pretty near fills the end beyond the baffles if you stand the tank on end. Do that in a plastic garbage can and you can shake it pretty good, I used a pressure washer and various homemade extension tips to ...

Re: Gas tank cleaner?
I just cleaned a Model a tank with this kit from Eastwood (POR 15 Fuel Tank Repair Kit Item #13431ZP Brand: POR-15). I got my Huckster back in 1976, first T. Got it home, started, and off the trailer, drove it half mile to local general store I ran. Seemed to run hot, so I figured might be low on oil. Couldn’t find the dipstick. Two old Coots sitting outside the store said nothing. Found the filler, added a quart....

Re: Help a T Novice Understand Greasing
Both Rolls Royce and Bentley used oil for lubrication on most Chassis fittings, so probably works fine on Ts! I use 600 or better yet 1000 weight ( “Steam Oil”). Check with your friends who run Stanleys, they usually have a drum of 1000, most are willing to sell five gallons to us with the lesser ca...
