In my Ford literature collection zI have one of the 1915 Pan Pacific Ford Exhibition handouts which I presume you could have picked up if you saw the touring assembly show there, or maybe you received it if you bought one of the assembled cars. Hopefully, this link will take you to one of their advertisements for the "Will Holl" improved patent rear end set up, to make any ford into a truck, from 1917. Jeff Humble is correct IMHO. One on the left strips the corn off the cobs and the other grinds or "cracks" the corn. I think I have that exact grinder on the garage. The patent date cast into the wheels is 1879 so it's pretty old school. I suppose you could try to grind coffee in it but the grind wo...

This is a very big help to me, thanks so much.
I sent you a real email to your yahoo yesterday, if you want to communicate back to me on that too.

Re: "Moto Nose" for Fords
I like old ships and this a a pretty cool cap. If I had one, I'd put a small speaker in the bottom of it, and then when people are looking at the car, I'd quietly whisper "help me" "help me" into the microphone to freak them out! I do like the idea of a finned lower radiator pipe too, I also think t...

Buy a new Ford and get rid of your mother in law at almost the same time? Seems like it that subtle inuendo would have marketing appeal to some buyers.. Have you ever heard of Henry Ford's mother in law?? No? Henry had a reputation for not being a nice guy, esp. not nice to his own family members. L...

Beautiful car early car!! The mustachioed driver looks strangely German to me? I love the tire chains in dry weather on cobblestone pavement. Maybe the boss had been stuck in the mud before and he told the driver never to do that again!!The 1912 Ray Wells built towncar body I had drove horribly. The...

Speedster - "Fronty Pete"'s Old Article on Evolution of Fronty and RAJOs
In light of the recent "What is it " post trying to ID that head/engine, I thought you speedsters might like to review the article Pete Schumach wrote years ago; it still has a lot of good info in it:

I suspect people just Google "cranking a model" with the hope they'll get porn? Instead, they got you starting your car. Imagine their disappointment..

Re: That insane craving for speed !
Since it's in Lewiston Idaho, having spent a lot of my youth and the area, in all likelihood they were racing up or more likely down the Lewiston "Grade" on the highway. The highway drops about 2,500 feet in 5 miles so you can probably see how fun that would be. You have to go down pretty slow or yo...

Use half inch conduit tubing that is sliced lengthwise and slip cut tube over the straight metal edge and tack weld the tube on. Much faster and cleaner than tapping out a wire edge with a hammer.

35 V8 truck grille is a one-off part. You'd be better off searching over at the hot rod HAMB website than here, it's a great website if you are not familiar. Some V8 hot rodder will have it. I do a lot of fire claims, and the smoke that's on your car will prove to be extremely corrosive. You may have already concluded that by seeing that the nickel plating on your headlights is now ruined. This will happen to the rest of your metal electrical components although cleaning them as soon as...
