I thought about that, as I have some I got for a sale but only to stop the foam from being sucked into the carb. A fine mesh cut into a circle fitting the carb opening might work. If the foam is moved down into the end close to the carb and holes are drilled just above the location of the foam's end...

Free model T air filter with Briggs and Stratton tune up kit?

I found a free Air filter for my model T, they claim it improves fuel economy by 150 % when I got this tune-up kit from Amazon. Is this too good to be true? But seriously, would this work? Maybe add a drop of oil or a retaining screen?

DO NOT skip the Rehab, he may have been joking, but that is a very important step to recovery. After looking at the crash pictures, I think Steve is very lucky or the T is not as much a death trap as they say. I greatly admire Steve's determination (or he may be nuts) to drive his T in today's world...

I added photos with tags to ID dimensions, TT is the truck, T is the car.
The Crank hole to the screw hole appares to be the same in both the TT and T.

This is really an off the wall thought but if an electric motor was attached in place of the crank, remove the plugs, jack the car up on blocks could a drivetrain be easier to diagnose? I know way out there. sorry.

I thought that the front of the TT Chassis / frame was the same as the car but, I took a measurement in the front area where the radiator is mounted and the TT is about 11/16" larger. see photo. I measured a car, 1925 back, chassis at 2" and the 1926 TT at 2 11/16". I feel this is reason for the dif...

Dan, you made me think that maybe only the 26 /27 TT was different because of the 9 leaf spring? Different cross member, spring, spring clip, and radiator apron?
Also, my frame did not have the hole drilled in where the fender bracket bolts to the under side, in the cross member.

I also notice: That the 26 / 27 TT apron I have has the slots for the nickel trim piece so then could the TT had a nickel radiator shell? I think the spring clip for the 26 was changed; enlarged threaded, and I think the 25 back TT used the car spring clip so did Ford make a apron for just the TT 25...

I noticed that the Radiator Apron for the 1924 - 1927 TT is a bit different then the car. The distance of the "face" is longer, see the attached photos. How does the fender's "tab" conner that goes near the front cross member match up with the apron? Is anyone reproducing the TT Aprons? IMG_1254.JPG...

It is a hole that you use when you rebuild the vaporizer, an alignment pin is inserted to clock the assembly.

I just got the very limited hard to get reproduction oval gas tank for my 25 TT from Macs / Ecklers - Good news right? No came with a dent in the joint area. What a deflating and infuriating experience. Now I got to ship it back. I wish they would have packaged it better.

I just did the 25 T pickup I am working on, used the fuel bowl to hold the bulb socket with the help of some hot glue. I also made the tail light function as a brake light with use of the Bendix cover style switch. Dual contact 1157 bulb works good but will try to find a LED bulb to replace it.

"Ford" script on front frame crossmember

I found a Ford Script stamped into the face of the frame's front crossmember, to the right of the crank/spring clamp. It is about 1/2" high. The car is a 1925 model T roadster. Is the unusual or normal?

Try Some compressed air and a blow gun to try and hear it moving around. The cheap $7 cameras that use a pc usb port are nice. I would also look around the shop floor or other parts of the frame. Best of luck
