I figure that at least some among the Model T brethren must fool with antique bikes so I wanted to ask if anyone might have a high wheel that they would like to sell. I am currently looking for another bike, preferably a 54 inch wheel but I can ride a 56 or a 52. This is probably a long shot but I thought it worth asking.

Hi, further along with the Weaver 4 ton jack. The lift arm had a totally smashed Zerk fitting on it that I drilled out. The hole measures 1/4 inch with a micrometer but my 1/4 inch Zerk replacement is too loose to fit the hole. What should I do? Would filling with JB weld and drilling it then screwing another Zerk in work?

I picked up a January 1959 Popular Mechanics magazine at the Lemay Marymount car show and auction today.
Thought this quiz was interesting.
I’ll confirm the correct answer (according to the magazines page 268) if anyone figures it out.

I was impressed by the 1906 Compound car at Harrah's many years ago. It's engine operated one of its cylinders from the force produced by exhaust gases from the two explosive cylinders. The result was a reduction in noise and saving power . That amazed and amused me.

I have a Phillips pump and tank lubester with the serial number B0892. I am looking to restore it and use it down the road. It is in great shape. The tank has practically no rust and the only thing that needs to be replaced it the top pump housing because it is cracked. I have a friend with a 1927 Bow tie coupe. The shells are made of aluminum, his is corroded with cancer and he says it can’t be repaired. The truck for the same year has a steel one. He’s interested in finding either one. Just thought one of y’all may have one stashed away.

Grounded out meaning the high tension lead grounded to the commutator terminal.
Thinking 6-12 Volts to operate the points. The tests may be several minutes long.

Am I the only 1 that can not find a can of normal krylon gloss black any more? It is missing in every store I used to buy it from.It looks better on some stuff than rustoleum.How black can be different is confusing.But i can't find anything but 2x and fusion.
