From the RNZAF (Royal New Zealand Air Force) is this TT fire tender at the Hobsonville (near Auckland) air base.
Judging from the pose, he may have been there while waiting for the fill!

Working away on the ignition switch wiring but have derailed myself.

I removed all the wiring screws but putting them back in the correct places is a problem.

I didn't realize that they are two different lengths so now don't know which what goes where.

Any hints on where longs and shorts go?

The current gas tank in my 25 Coupe does not have the small banana shaped bracket seen at the bottom of this picture. Is it supposed to sit in the bracket with two legs or one leg or is there supposed to be one of these brackets on both sides. Thank you.

Anybody know what the compression should be with high compression pistons and a high head?

I live in an area here on the Texas Gulf Coast that is relatively flat so I shift into high gear and stay there the vast majority of the time. I am curious as to those that have driven in mud or up steep hills without a Ruckstell what is the longest amount of mileage you’ve had to drive in low gear in yards or miles?

Those with early Fords have an advantage of having information available for their cars. Those after 1911 are at a disavantage as the records for post 1911 Model T Fords have been lost in the 1970's.

Anyone aware of surviving copies of factory or dealer records for the post 1911 Ford Model T.

Has any forum reader tried and run a Swan carburetor, notably a Swan A-1-F model? It is an updraft carburetor and would normally be used with a Swan combination intake/exhaust manifold, but I guess could be used with any updraft intake, even a Model A. I have a Paterson speedo drive which has a spiral bronze gear inside the transmission and has a special transmission cover plate. I need a replacement fibre gear that goes on the end of the shaft and is driven by the spiral gear. Does anyone have/know of a source for same?

I thought I was done with my disk brake project on my 26 Touring but have a lingering question.

The hose from the remote reservoir is a bit long and I let the hose droop a little below the level of the master cylinder in the routing. Seems to make no difference and the system bled ok. Do you think this will create a problem?

It looks like the same rubber piece is on the horizontal and vertical parts of the frame. I have ordered the material from one of the suppliers.
