We have a 1926 improved touring. We are changing our wooden wheels to the metal spoke wheels. The gear that is attached to the wooden wheel has screws into the wood. How is this gear attached to the metal hub? Is there another gear or a method to attach this gear to the hub?

I have used the yellow teflon tape on two of my cars. I wouldn't recommend using this, as it had failed after one to two years of service.

The front tires on my 1924 TT Truck are 5.25 X 21 . What is the proper tire pressure? The rear tires are 6.50 X 20 and say 50 LBS single and 60 LBS dully. Thanks Mark

Have been trying to remove the universal and ball covering from 1907 Model N.
I removed the grease access screws from each side and note there is a slotted screw head bolt.
I can turn it but it does not thread out.
Is it a pin that needs to be driven out?
The ball is damaged so would like to repair or replace.

Any suggestions???

I placed an add for a cowl and some of the questions I am getting make me think that this may not be as easy as I thought. I appeared to me I could just grind the rivets off and unbolt a few things and the cowl should come off, is this correct or is there a lot more to it. The car is completely assembled.

I’ve read some on the earlier forum about Dunn counterweights. Seems like a good idea to me.
As long as they are fit properly I would add.

What a revoltin' development this is!
A few years ago this head developed a tiny coolant leak near the M in MADE. I patched it up and had many trouble free miles.

Was going to mount the oil lamps I bought and realized my cowl lamp brackets apparently are not right for a 1922 Touring. If I used them the side lights would not point straight forward - they would shine off to the sides of the car. I need some advise re reinstalling my intake manifold. I'm using gland and ring gaskets. The gland is in the manifold. With the ring installed over the gland, there is virtually no portion of the gland rim protruding past the ring. That makes positioning of the manifold properly on the block improbable.

I just removed this NH from the '14 and swapped it out with a rebuilt one. This one looks pretty good & possibly can be just cleaned up and reassembled with new gaskets, float valve and such other parts as disassembly might reveal. One oddity - there are two magnets on the outside of the float bowl. Any ideas why they were fitted?

I had a new repro ammeter in my 26TT. With the third brush almost fully retarded it would read +10 while driving. I just acquired an older ammeter (don't know how old it is) and it seemed to match the looks of the interior better so I installed it.
