What is the preferred procedure to install rim bolts into the fellows on a 1925 Model TT.

Hello....I see several types of external engine oilers that can be added to send extra oil to the front of the engine.

There have been many posts on this forum about Z and P high compression heads. In no post have I ever read where someone successfully milled even as much as a 32nd of an inch (.031) off of a Prus head. Does anyone know if this is possible, assuming the block has stock deck height?

I am in the process of removing the glass from the windows in my 1927 coupe. The photos show the windows. I have removed the hardened rubber on the inside of the rear window, but I haven't tried to push the glass out. I would appreciate any comments/suggestions on how to proceed.

I'm getting my Model T ready for a tour in two weeks. The fuel on/off valve on the carb has been sticky so I decided to try to lap the valve and lube it with some EZ Turn. Over the last couple of days it also developed a slow leak at the valve so I decided it couldn't wait.

I have a new (2019) Bergs low (black) radiator. I put a motometer Jr. and winged cap on it. After 2000 miles the neck came loose and I had it soldered back on. Today, after 1200 additional miles, it appears to be coming loose again. After fixing it the first time I changed the wings to a dogbone (lighter weight) but kept the motometer.

I'm pretty sure pin 3342 is the reason my 1919 tourer won't shift into high gear. Can someone please take a look at the picture and tell me if there's an easy way to fix that without tearing the engine apart?

I've ordered the disk brake kit and I need to let them know if I have the safety hubs or not. How can I tell if the prior owner installed them? I doubt it but thought I'd double check.

I am installing a top on my 24 touring. Has anyone installed a kit from cartouche? Iv watched a few videos and there kit install seems to be different then how clastique installs there kit . Does anyone know when Ford went from the one piece dust ring held on with a screw in front of the terminal stud to the split type held with a bolt and nut? McCalley's book shows a generator on page 277 with the early setup. The stud is not attached to the buss bar like the later ones. Pictures don't want to post today!

Stevens tool number T-256 is a Stevens valve stem wedge. Lengthens the valve stem without distortion!

The starter in my 1927 Roadster Pickup has always seemed weak ever since I purchased this restored pickup. In order to eliminate all the other factors, I installed the following items new and insured all the connections were clean and tight:

1) Optima Red Top 6V 800 CCA battery.
2) Langs heavy duty 1/0 cable set (battery to switch, switch to...

New 12V battery, new fuel tank and sediment bulb, full flowing fuel.

Mixture knob counterclockwise about 7/8 of a turn.

We removed the hot air pipe to make it easier to spray starting fluid.

I'm working on a '13 T that has been 'Converted' to electric Headlights.. It's not mine, but I could not say no to a fellow T'er in trouble.
Presently it has late model Lamp Reflectors, with Bulb Sockets soldered to the reflectors. This looks like an Old Conversion. The Reflector just rattles around in the housing, and it has late model Headlight...

I am questioning how my generator is mounted to the running board. Mine has a 3/4 inch piece of wood under it to raise it above the ribs in the outside of the running board. perhaps the unit is the wrong size? (base to big in diameter)? The tie rod bushings of my spindle arms are not parallel with my spindle bolts. They are tipped upward a little. I loosened my spindle arms while I rebuild the axle assembly. I reinstalled the tie rod with arms loose. When I turn the spindles from side to side the tie rod binds on the arms but only at the extremes . They don't bind at the middle...

I finally found a way to raise the body so we could remove the gas tank for cleaning...I asked my son Bailey to see what he could figure out!

We have a new fuel tank, but it has some minor rust on the inside near where the baffle(s) were welded.

I'm asking for your thoughts how to best deal with this; beads, beads with diesel fuel, Muriatic...

(1) How do you remove the hub caps on wire wheels? I have applied penetrating oil and am waiting a day or so.

(2) Do you paint the entire individual spring leaf (prime and top coats) and then apply the slip coat or do you apply the slip coat to the bare metal contact surface?

(3) The rear spring tie bolt on my 1927 coupe has the small head....

I own a 1919 model T with my siblings. We all drive it from our wedding to the reception on our wedding day. Well our rear axel just broke and my brothers wedding is on May 15th at 3pm.

For those concerned about travel to Luray, I can at least report on my region, that as of this evening, gasoline is available at the Inwood, West Virginia exit (exit 5 on I-81). Inwood is about 60 miles north of Luray. Hopefully, news that gas is flowing again will ease the panic-buying.

It amazes me just how much punishment Henry's Model T can take and still ran.
I have seen a lot of loose rivets over the years when dealing with transmissions. All or some loose but never seen this before.
This had to happen over a period time, but yet kept on running. I slipped the shaft forward just for the picture.

I bought this interesting tail light bracket a few years ago and want to use it under the end of my pickup box. I need the license plate mounting extension that inserts in the side hole.
