Good move Mark, coil points are more vulnerable to mis-adjustment than many realize. Simple, inexpensive insurance to protect your back up coil. Getting coils properly adjusted is very important, keeping them from getting bumped during transit and installation is just as important.

It may just be a painted boarder to imply that they also sell replacement Windshields. The top of the box in front of it has a very shiny surface as well

The holly vaporizer carb is built very much like the claimed 50 mpg carb. Can anyone provide any mpg data on this carb compared to other t carbs. My holly nh probably gets 18 mpg, but that is only a guess. Thanks for any input.

In addition, you need the hanger to support the transmission, the short coupler shaft does not do that. The Warford was designed with the TT in mind so don't see the need to move it forward. Neal is correct. You don't have to remove the firewall or attack it with a Sawzall. Just undo the brackets from the frame, remove the front four body bolts, loosen the rear two, and put the front of the body on 2 x 4 blocks. I've done this several times, and I've never broken anything. I don't see anything to break.

I see what you mean, Allan. Looking more closely I see that the threads here are not part of the stem. That leaves just the bridge washer and the three thick washers as the oddities.

There is a urethane windshield sealer/bedding compound available in a standard caulking tube. It is made to install modern windshields in their frames. It is a very strong adhesive when dry. It forms a rubber like seal, but is not slick like silicone sealer. I buy it at my local NAPA, so most auto parts stores should have it, or be able to get it....

The modern Model T was the VW Type 1 Beetle.

I expanded the very first picture and there appears to be a rusty line and a clear line around the hub. To me this implies the hub is moving with respect to the spokes. If the nuts are tight then is time for new spokes. I made a spoke press and have rebuilt several demountable wheels quite successfully. I wouldn’t even try wheels with wood Feloes

These are the only slingers I install - manufactured by a well respected T guy !!!

On my 14 Touring I can remove and replace the motor without removing the steering column but I have to leave the starter off. It’s tight but I’ve done it a couple of times. I use a lifting eye in #4 for the vertical lift and then switch to one in #1 for the vertical lift.

BTT Still hoping for input

I had an engine with similar symptoms.
Pulled the pan and things seemed tight.
Turned out it was the front main.
A blocked oil hole was the problem. (Low mileage rebuild .)
I seem to remember a remetalled cap and rebluing the crank was the solution.

Definitely a front passenger door, it has the hole for the keylock. I just checked my '25 coupe door and it is only 24 inches wide and the window regulator is nearly centered like Joe's Fordor door. The door in question is wider and the regulator is farther forward. My guess is it's for a Tudor.

Here's a Canadian torque tube.

I'll see if I can find a butchered one in my stash and take it apart.

The threading seemed obvious on the torque tube in my 26 Tourer (the worn out car at Maryborough) as it had spun but looking at this one maybe it was an optical illusion.
