I am sure this topic has come up before, what original type spark plug would work best in 1924 engine with electronic distributor 12 volt ignition,aluminum pistons. Rock Auto has Champion 425 & 525 available . Thanks for your opinion.

When (if ever) did Ford use a steering wheel hub that had 2 key slots in it, directly across from one another? Early T? late T? pre-T? (Like NRS, K, or A-B-C-F?)

I pulled this starter crank out of my pile and noticed it was longer than others that I’ve seen. It has a 1914 aluminum handle on it, but the top shaft is longer than a stock T crank. Same diameter. Any ideas?

I generally start and then run my car on magneto. In the past month or so I was showing people how it could both start and run on either, but I noticed it was not running well enough to drive on battery.

I cleaned the plugs, the timer and adjusted the carburetor. Still it wouldn’t run smoothly on battery. Then I had the second cylinder cut out....

Does anyone have an auxiliary transmission support like the one pictured? It is suspended from the frame by two U bolts. I have the bar but need the dimensions to make U bolts to fit. After taking apart the engine in my 27, I noticed the valve springs didn't all look the same. I lined them up, by length, but put the longest next to the shortest.

There's about half an inch difference, the longest is about three inches, shortest about two and a half.

I'm ready to put the panels on my doors and interior and have a question. I have the Classtique kit and the kick panels forward of the right front door and on the foward part of the driver's side panel have a sewn edging on them unlike the door panels. I know I'm supposed to finish the edges of the doors with a simple welt and painted round headed...

Secondary to door I’d is this cowl section someone tried to make into a truck. I believe a 27: frame numbers are 27, and if cowl is original to frame, I’m not sure. The cowl door does have a stop that holds it open half-way open. This would make it a Fordor, correct?

Since finishing the restoration of our 15 runabout in April, I've been driving it and our 21 touring enough to start noticing differences in how they both ride. Obviously the touring has a heavier body, so I expected the lighter runabout to have a stiffer ride. You can definitely feel bumps more with the runabout, but the touring also has Hassler...

I took these lights off my car to return it to original. They’re marked Gray & Davis made in Boston. The forks measure 7.5” center to center and are double bulb. I also have the high/ low beam switch. Anyone know anything about them? I’ve not found any similar.

Hoping someone has a overhead head gasket (that would fit an 8 valve head such as a Fronty or Rajo). I am hoping you can measure the bore size and thickness for me. It really would help if you have a used gasket as it's already squished, but I've got a good idea of what the difference would be if you only have a new one.

Can a T block be safely bored to .080 over or should it be sonic tested to make sure it has enough meat left to ensure it won't present a problem later on. Just checking if anyone has purchased a 1913/1914 Mr Roadsrer windshield that Speedway Motors sells? Their add says it's an exact reproduction, is it really? The windshield frame with the channel isn't that much more than just the channel.... especially if the channel already has the bends in it. It's supposed to be made in the U.S.
