I asked this question several years ago and got several suggestions, but I didn't follow through and buy the tool at the time. Vaporizer fuel bowel vent (M) started leaking gas sitting not run in a couple of days in garage with fuel shut off. Does this indicate a float or needle valve issue?

I am inclined to remove the fuel bowl and clean the needle and seat. Am I on the right track?

I have a 1923 Pick UP that started life as a Touring Car. The back seat was cut off and a bed was put on. I want to maintain the Pick Up configuration and put a top on. There aren’t any places to attach top irons on the seat. Do I need to fabricate something? Can I use a standard Roadster top? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Perhaps more worked needed, knew the axle shafts were worn at tapered end and with poor threads, so have to replace those at a minimum.

Watching the videos and there seems to be tool that is needed for the seats.

Guys: I am looking to make some special bushings for piston pins also know as wrist pins. What kind of bronze is best to use? What I found on an other forum talked about a CA954 or C95400. They are same thing. Any input would be nice. How does it machine would be helpful too.

I have a fronty head on my model t with a distributor on it. 12 volt system, I can install a new set of points in it and it will start and run ok. But when I try to restart I find the points are burnt what is wrong with this is there a set of points that are to be used only on 12 volts

I want to have some runningboard boxes made and cover them with black covers that snap on. I think the original ones were covered in Fabrokoid. This is that black faux leather stuff that you have all probably seen on trunks etc that is usually shrunken and cracked.

I suppose the closest modern material would just be long grain top material?

So I dove into an engine/transmission I recently brought home. I found cylinders 1, 3, and 4 have no Babbitt left at the rod caps, resulting in a lot of play. The inside if the block is glistening with silver flakes.... The caps are all cotter pinned, so i dont think someone slapped an engine together with unserviceable parts.

I was attempting to install the universal joint on the drive shaft. The pins I have are 1 11/32 and the universal joint is 1 3/8 , so they are too short to peen them. Is my universal joint too wide or are the pins too short? What length should they be?

I put a new fan blade on and the flange crumbled in my hand.. what remained seamed strong. My question is do u think this will last a while yet ?

Today I did what I wanted to do for a very long time- I installed a 12 volt fuel shutoff valve. I connected everything up and decided to connect the power to the bottom of the 1926 coil box. After a recent tour I now have very little power from the magneto. The car overheated after the fan belt came off. The car ran great on battery and magneto prior to this. Anyone out there have experience adjusting the headlights on a 24 T Coupe? Looks like the bar that holds the light through the fender and attached to the frame. Is there a tool or something that can adjust one light up and back about 1 inch. Thanks for any ideas.

The low and reverse drums have some slop, but how much is too much?
