Does anybody have wood plans for the 23-24 roadster? I only need plans for the upright post but would consider buying a full set of plans.

I discovered when I removed my timing cover that the engine in my ’26 has a fiber timing gear. While its teeth show little wear, I really don’t want to use it since I have a generator. Just finished the rearend on my 4- dr. Put the 4 to 1 gears in and it made a big difference. I put the z head on last year so this should make a whole better performance in the hills. When the rain is over I will go for a drive in the hills. You all have a good day. Clyde.

I have an old aftermarket Flivver brand water pump. Does anyone know what the original color was for this brand of water pump? The pump I have has remnants of green paint like Model A engine green, but it may not be the original color. Thanks for your help. Richard

Is it possible to buy wood plans made by him? I understand he passed away, but thought I read that his family was still selling his plans.

Among the many pieces and parts that came with my wife's '27, was a set of what looks like new body blocks.
Does anyone have some pictures of what body blocks go where?
The hood does not quite line up and the front of the body needs to come up every so slight.
I don't see any adjustment. Am I missing something?

I know a shop in the Houston area that can do it, but now I live in San Antonio, so a shop recommendation in San Antonio, Austin, or even Dallas/Ft. Worth would be appreciated.

I opened the transmission last week-end on my 1913-14 car... And I found something I never saw before but hearing about it in couple post on MTFCA forum.
Is it a Jack Rabbit Clutch disc set? Also discs suposed to be placed alternately with 9 original clutch large discs as I know. But on my transmission they are not be placed alternately...

I have decided to use kevlar linings. Is this band too pitted to use. I was originally going to polish it.

I'm in the process of restoring a 1926 Coupe and all the top (roof) wood is missing. I'm wondering if anyone has a drawing showing the layout and dimensions. Any help would be appreciated.

What size bolt is used to hold the hogshead onto the engine pan? I think it's a 3/8-24 but not sure how long they are supposed to be - thanks!

I've had both front tires off and back on the wheels on the front of our '21Touring at least once each, maybe twice on one. I found that Go-Jo hand cleaner worked very well for mounting lube. I'm now dealing with at least one rear, maybe both. I wonder if the hand cleaner would work too well on rear wheels/tires causing the tires to possibly slip...

I have a cylinder head I removed from a '23 engine a while back - don't have the car anymore, so don't have the serial #. Wondering who, when, why was it cast without the beloved Ford script on top? Love that big Ford script bling looking at you when you open the hood! Any ideas??

Got the new Snyders 2020 the other day and noticed the 21 American classic radials available, wondering if any one here is currently running them on their T. If you are how were they to get on your rim and the overall ride quality, @ some point I have to remove the Sears Allstates :lol:

Anyone else have a problem with tbay today going from one page to the next page of Model T items. I get to the bottom of the page, 50 items and there are no pages to go to next.

still learning ,i heard long ago if you lived in hilly country, the dealer would put lower gearing in the rear end, just one of those thing ive wonder'd about over the years, how many gear sets available for the t, i know my 21 likes to scamper down the road at 30 mph, and it takes a good hill to have to shift.

After installing my engine with repairs completed I discovered a good size oil leak from the area of the Bendix cover. I looked around and found the old gasket in my discard pile... I couldn't have installed the cover without a gasket, could I? with a quick glance I could confirm that I used a new gasket from my gasket set purchase.

Been a long time since I took it apart, rough times this winter, but back at it ! ;)

Took the u-joint off and slid the shaft out, cut the pinion sleeve off and ready for the modern bearings.

Basically ready for the gear to finish up the driveshaft assembly.
Time for some cleanup and see if I have some brake linings.

How do you remove steering case brass rivets?

I drilled out the quadrant rivets but when I tried to bang out the brass case rivets they did not budge. And I am afraid of ruining it.

I want to replace the steel levers with brass levers.

Im installing the radiator on the speedster project. It seems with my fan and other things a 27 inch belt is almost too shrot and a 28 inch fan belt is almost too long. The 27 inch will allow the fan to turn but the blades only clear the lower hose by about 1/8 inch. The 28 inch belt allows plenty of room for the fan but the belt just barely rubs...

I have a new brake drum. The step between the drum and the drive plate is about .015”. I am concerned that this might wear or shred the lining. I was going to use NOS Scandinavian linings,but am having trouble finding them in good condition. My next choice is Kevlar, but I have read that they do not like to run on a brake drum with a step.

I can not find any maple or ash lumber within 60 miles of home. All we have is pine or red oak. Any suggestions of what else I might use.

How much front end toe in should there be on a 27 with wire wheels?

I am guessing the strap goes over the tank and through the bracket holes on a 1912 Torpedo roadster.

The strap does not fit over the tank. I believe by the worn threads that the straps are original. The tank might be a repo.

The one picture shows the strap lifted high over the tank. The other picture shows the end about an inch off the deck....

At Piquette and then Highland Park, of course, but what about the branch assembly plants? Did some of them (or all of them) make their own engines? The serial number records refer to blocks of numbers being sent to Manchester, Cork, and Long Island, so I gather those plants made engines. Did any of the others? I know that Ford Canada made engines...
