I like disc brakes on the rear of just about any Model T. They work well, no matter who's design is used.
I have notice some flex in the bracket that holds the master cylinder to the 4th main. It's not a lot by none the less it moves.
I have seen some old posts dated in the 2010 or so that show a round bar that attaches to one of the hogs head...

On my 26-Touring there are 30x3 1/2 tires with removable split rims. Is a 21 inch split rim from Snyders or Langs the right size for a spare wheel or should 30x 3 1/2 removable rims be ordered?

I am helping a buddy restore his T Coupe. Our problem is with the windshield hinge weather stripping.

We don't know how it is supposed to fit. We don't know if it is supposed to slide in to the rail or if it lays flat on top and we punch holes for the 1/4 x 20 screws.

How does it fit?

I am restoring a 1926 RPU and the latches that came with the car won't bolt up. Is there a difference between 26 and 27 door latches?

The one in the left In the picture Is what came with the 26 open car that I am restoring.
The one to the right Is from a 27 open customer car.

Brought to life after 50 years. The photos are how I found it almost 2 years ago and how it sits today. My uncle parked this in 1972 and it started for the first time since being parked today. So much pride. My first T. Changed the new oil and found a few bits. Don't think it is anything to be over concerned about.

I am removing the original glass from my 24 coupe. I have taken the measurements from the old glass. The new laminated glass will be 1/4 thick and should fit in the channel. Likely not enough space to put the fabric in the channel like original. I have seen people put a bead of clear silicone and install glass. I have not had the glass cut yet....

Drove 25 miles to buy a new bandsaw blade. Spent half a hour installing and adjusting it. Ready to cut but needed to set table at a angle. went to tilt the table and both table trunions broke. Cheap white metal. Found some on ebay but for a different brand. Hope they fit. If not. $34.oo wasted.

My ventilator belt broke. Apparently it's not a straight forward task to order a new, as they come in many lengths. What would be a proper length for a 1914 Model T? They come from 23 to 36 .

The rubber seal on my windshield post has worked its way out of the groove. It's strange since the car has mostly sat in the barn for months. I'm having a hard time getting it back into the groove and I could use some guidance. The seal is the one shown in the photo (arrow).

The triple gear pins in my 23 runabout are shot and need to be replaced. I've recieved some new pins in the past where the surface where the gears run was rough. Are there any good quality reproduction pins available that are the proper size so that they will not crack my flywheel?

So I am was curious why no one produces rear lowering brackets for a 26-27 T? I've seen the brackets on eBay that Bill sales and they look great but was hoping to find a set for my 26. I have a 26 touring and when I first got it 60 years ago I had rebuilt the engine from quality parts and carefully assembled all the parts to assure no leaks vacuum or pressure. When I started the engine there was a very noticeable popping and puffing at the exhaust indicative of a vacuum leak, I retightened to no avail so I just lived with it....

Considering the price, would you replace your points every year? Just the points or condensor too? Then would not have to file your points or try to line them up if they are off.

The hood on my 14 has never fit right and was a battle to latch. After I had the engine rebuilt and put a new radiator on it, the hood fit did not improve. I did some measuring and adjusted the radiator angle from front to rear which greatly helped the fit. However it is still near impossible to latch the hood.

I had a flat my21 touring. In trying to break the bead I tried using c clamps hammer also made a lever fulcum against the shop wall all to no avail. I finally took it to a tire shop and they used their hydraulic bead breaker. My question is, is there a method one can use at home to break the bead?
