Those of yall who've been following my build thread know that I had my first real day of trouble free driving in my 24 Touring, last weekend. It was simply sublime, glorious, fun, etc, etc.

My 21 touring hood slants down towards the rear of the car which indicates the body has to be raised a half of an inch or so for the hood to be straight. The radiator is bolted to the body with only the leather in between so I cannot lower it any. What am I missing? Frank

Where should the oil level be in a car Ruckstell, the book says add 1qt for car and one inch below the plug on a truck so when checking a car, how for below the plug should the oil level be?

It is Ford, with the initials C D under the logo. On the back of the key it has the number 58 .

The 12 rivet rear end housing was no doubt an improvement over the earlier housings. Within two years it was replaced by a much better design which served well until the end of model T production. Does anyone have any info or pictures of how the Fordson tractor magneto drive is used on a car. I have seen references to it being done. I just got one and so far I see that the boss for the fan adjustment needs to be removed and 26/27 fan used and maybe the oil fill spout needs to be modified but not sure.

So did the cars come with one or two tire tools?

I have a very nice original 1914 gas cap that is cemented by rust into an un-salvageable tank, so a ring of tank metal around the cap was torched out of it. The heat didn't affect the rust cement any; the cap is still firmly in place. Can anyone recommend any one type of snake oil penetrant that won't hurt the aluminum? I don't want to experiment...

I have a new set of springs and a Classtique seat upholstery kit for my 23 runabout. It’s been suggested that an inch of memory foam under the seat upholstery is a good idea.
