I hate to ask this but I can't identify what this part is. I took apart the engine and front end last fall and bagged every bolt, nut and dead mouse. oK, I have discovered water/antifreeze in the oil and oil in the radiator, this on an engine with a Rajo head installed as well as a pressurized oil system.

In getting ready for an upcoming rear axle/driveline rebuild I thought that I would take the time to fix a problem with the Stevens Drive Shaft Bushing Puller that I have. This is probably a problem that other that own this tool have as well. The pawls that actually pull the bushing do not work due to the broken/missing torsion spring....

Can someone who has 3 bolt Disteel wheels post a picture of the center? I have seen some with what looks like a riser or spacer under the acorn nuts and some with just the nuts. Also, does anyone have 1 (or 2) 23 Disteel 3 bolt clinchers that they will sell? Thank You

This photo was taken near Baltic, SD at the 50th wedding anniversary of my great great grandfather's brother. Any thoughts on the make of the car that is sideways in the background? Leather license plate visible on a rear facing car indicates pre-1913 in South Dakota.

Finally took the plunge and bought this TT. Owner said it was a '23 but engine and other features (I'm still in sponge mode on details) make it appear to be a '24. Any observations are welcome. While working on the speedster engine, I ran into a part I do not remember seeing before. I found some brass magneto magnet spools that were mixed in with the aluminum spools. I'm getting around to restoring my 1926 Model T Coupe that I've owned for over 50 years. After cleaning up and painting the front wheels I mounted them one has a wobble of about 3/8 . Is there anyway to fix it without replacing it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm trying to find the height dimension from the top of the crank handle (where it goes into the motor in front) to the top of the radiator shell (not including the filler neck) for the 1915-16, 1917-23, and 1924-25 radiators.

Just recently Iv noticed a problem with my steering shaft. When I turn it, it clicks before catching the pitman arm. The pitman arm is tight and I see no moment when I turn the wheel back and forth before the shaft clicks like its got a sheared pin somewhere. Here is a short video of the sound.

Not only do I consider the exhaust nut wrench essential but there are several applications were there is not a good equivalent modern tool do do the job as well as an original Ford Z wrench. I have 30 x 3.5 demountables on my '17 Touring. Any idea what the proper torque is for the four nuts that hold the rim to the wheel? I've been told 40 Ft-lbs but thought I'd see what others had to say.

I know I should be glad that these are available but I really should have ground some of the serrated edge off. When it touches the spring or perch they tend to bite & then the shackle itself wears in places that it shouldn't.
Thinking of re-making the worn parts in 8MM steel rather than the 5.5 MM they're currently made from.

I recently bought a reproduction Fronty valve cover. The surface finish wasn’t smooth. I’d like an almost mirror finish for looks and clean-ability.
I sanded with 600 wet/dry paper and it’s much improved but wondering if there is a trick I’m missing.

I've gotta get busy and get my top on my '21 Touring. I have the top kit and everything needed, except the straps that go inside, in the rear, on either side of the window(s). I will be placing an order with Lang's sometime this next week to get them. I have a helper lined up as soon as the weather warms up a little.

If you are planning to attend the Sierra Vista Tour and have an extra mounted spare T tire to loan out for the duration of the tour - it would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the issue:
Went to remove the wheels/tires on the 13, this car has wood spoke split rims on it.
First thing I noticed was all the lug nuts were not very tight (probably finger tight with a 1/2 turn on the nut added) every tite/wheel the same.
Then I noticed that there was about 3/16 space between the lug on the rim and the fellow, again the...
