Going thru my 24 coupe while the weather is not the most driver friendly. Checking to see what script coil would be proper for a Mid year 24 production car. Either the Ford script on the side of the coil, or the Ford script along the top edge. Thanks in advance

I went over my T pickup today with the inspection sheet from Mtfca that the club handed out at last years Christmas party, and I found a couple things I want to ask about.

When did the wheel manufacturers start using embossed letters on the splice plates? Looking at many of the cars here at the Ford Piquette Plant, I see many of the wheels have no letter at all on the Models A through S. Some other cars have an H (Hayes) or P (Prudden) on the splice plate.

I try to lube my T's every 250 miles and do an oil change every 500 miles. I used to keep track of how much gasoline I was using and figured that 35 gallons equaled about 500 miles.

Then I started messing with hour meters. My experience, don't mess with the $15 - $30 electronic meters from Ebay or Amazon. They don't last. This one is from NAPA...

Yesterday we had 7 Model T's at a school in El Cajon California. The cars were 1911 touring, 1924 touring 1925 touring 1926 touring 1927 touring 1914-?speedster and 1926 Canadian roadster. Three classes came out to see our cars. Hopefully some of those kids will grow up to own Model T's and keep the hobby going.

For those of you who followed this saga. Well, I paid $60 for the w marked hubcap on ebay. It arrived today and it was very nice though the seller sent it in a soft padded envelope! Yes, it arrived bent! Luckily not enough that pressing it between a wool blanket couldn’t coax it back to shape.

Why does a T run better on mag than on battery? Is this actually the case or is it a myth? Is it a stronger spark? If so, once combustion occurs, does the size of spark even make a difference to the explosion?

Is there any use for used u-joints that are too far out of spec to use?

I just bought a new one from Langs and have two that are worn out. They're about to go in the scrap metal pile but I always feel bad about throwing out Model T parts, no matter how bad they are.

I'm in the process of replacing the rear axle seals in my 1926 Tudor and I'm not sure if I should replace the friction material on the brake band while I have it apart.
Hopefully the pictures I took came through ok, the band lining is about 3/16 thick however the brass rivets are exposed and in my thinking they should be countersunk

Three of the exhaust manifolds I straightened were so far gone that they didn't survive the process. Would it be worthwhile to vee cracks like this and braze them?

I found the perfect persuasion device for my wife. It works on the insanely noisy T 6 volt electrical system and has 2 USB charge ports. One for me and one for her iPhone’s hungry power (2amp). 2 wires and Hidden under the dash - it’s 2”x1.5”. So useful!

I have a Model TT Truck with the metal in closed cab. I need to attach the side window strap to the side windows to lift them up and down. My question is: How have you TT Truck owners done that? I need some good ideas. My side windows are safety glass. I have the strap and window, but no fastener.

We have a 1912 front wheel that will not come off. It goes around nicely with the nut, washer,bearing removed. We can not pull or knock off it with a big hammer from the back side. The bushings in the transmission are toast, the crankshaft has a nice dark gray film attached to it, Yuck!
Well, I have another engine ready for it so shelve the old one.
