I bought a dome light but it does not match the mounting holes in my car. Maybe someone can identify it for me.It is 3 round and the mounting holes are 3 5/8 apart. It was supposed to be for a T . I need a spare ignition key for my 27 depot hack. Unfortunately the numbers on the key are worn off.
Also the numbers on ignition switch are not visible due to the severe pitting under the paint.

I have a RHD 1913 Kingston model Y (4 ball) carburetor that is in dire need of a full rebuild. The carburetor is for my late model year 1912 RHD roadster. My plan was to send the carburetor to Stan Howe a few years ago, but never got around to it, so now very much regretting my procrastination....

Does the mount for the leaf spring and the cross member need to be solid or should there be some flexibility?

I have never seen a OEM mounted one, so I don't know. The reason I ask is because this DIY lowering mount did wiggle a bit side to side on the cross member after I took the wheels off and hung the frame on stands.

Aquiring extra power

Rather than rebuilding a strong motor to acquire extra hill pulling power, can the installation to a 4:1 compression motor of NO2 be a benefit?

Hi all. My shut off valve, attached to the sediment bowl of the cowl tank leaks a lot when the engine stops and the valve is not shut off. Can I remove it and just use the sediment bowl shut off to stop gas flow to the carb? These extra shut off valves were not original from the factory, or were they? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Have any tests been made to determine if there is a difference in HP running without magnets on the flywheel.
You would have a reduction of weight on the flywheel which would also include a reduction in enertia.
Most are using 12 volt and a distributor. Also doesn't a magneto and 4 coils give better performance than a dributor as the RPM...

What visor would be appropriate to a steel cab TT?

Looking at the post on reworking the lugs on narrow drums, can a lug be made to fit the current size of the lugs and taking the disc's and cutting or grinding the notch wider and deeper in the disc. If you removed all the material from one side you would have a better chance of keeping things even and in balance.

Here’s a higher end gas station with no-knock gas and a 1920? T Coupe filling up. The sign says General Motors Research center. Were they using it at this paticular station for testing the product?

My sandblaster guy went a little aggressive and roughed up the outside of my rear drums. I use Rocky Mountain brakes. Can anyone tell me if that’s going to tear up my brake linings?

I’m helping a club member with her car, and found the transmission brake band appears to have real brake linings. It was her father’s car and wasn’t driven much, I’ve checked the drum and found no burns or cracking, some light wear. Going to put Scandinavia material on the band.

Anyone have any idea what this manifold was intended for when new. I don't believe Model A due to the port shape. I know what the carb is from, and dont know if that's a clue or not. My only guess is Iron Duke Chevrolet.

What distinguishes a 1913/14 Corcoran carbide generator from the others. Otherwise, how do I know if I am looking a Corcoran generator or some other brand of generator? Pictures would be helpful.

Ordered a set of .015 over T style valves. Specs given we they were .327 stem. I planned to cut new guides with a 21/64 reamer (.328) and then a quick hone to get to proper size. The valves arrived and measure .3245-.3250.

I am finishing a late 13 block someone else started. The block has had seats installed, ground and guide reamed to accept what I believe are chev valves that have been included. The valve dimensions are 5.103 long. 1.506 head diameter. .3415 stem diameter. They have 1 notch about. 90 or more wide for the keepers. The slot diameter there is .3003 ....
