Main jet and needle valve do not interchange as I recall. I think they can be made to work. A few other pieces I think do fit. Of course, that special flapper that makes the Wizard/Simmons work like they do is unique to them, and aren't generally available anywhere. Buy a piloted reamer from the suppliers along with matching lifters. Use a mechanical guide to put the reamer in the CENTER of things and you'll be good to go without worrying about calculating clearances.

For putting a new hose on a new rdiator inlet, it's hard to imagine that you have any pits to worry about. I started using a finger smear of grease on both the hose and the inlet, then install hose. That really ended my leak problems and the hoses are sooo easy to remove next time. Old mechanic trick.

I have had a look at my frame and removed that small screw.
It's hard to see exactly what's there, but it goes through the outer frame part, then another piece - as you show, and then I can see threads so I think there may be a small nut.

Is you frame fully painted? I wouldn't assemble it until it is painted.

My favorite is 4th from the bottom, 14 touring, with the little dog sitting up in the backseat 😂. And the “On the Boundary Line US and Mexico” ‘14 touring has bill fenders and slanted louvers on the hood ?? Does that pass the Original Smith test ??

I agree with Scott, a single disc spacer of correct thickness is best for reasons cited. I have found numerous original fiber spacers in place in old differential cages, so these parts functioned to some extent in some instances. As stated above you first need to get the axle & its parts back to their correct position.
There may be a reason that the perches are on backwards and that is if they had bee-hive Hassler Shocks (pancake style did not have the reversed)

I have a 1926 Western Auto parts supply book for mostly Model T’s. It lists most all the Ford T tools and a few other aftermarket tools but not this one. It must have been a short lived tool that didn’t catch on. Maybe it’s listed in other Western Auto parts books.

Custom's fees are billed to the importer and record. That can be the importer (and then billed to the buyer) or by the buyer when it lands in the destination country. There is a metal panel for the bottom. Mine had been cut for such a purpose. There is some room above the drive shaft or more on each side if you choose.

Another great source of information on year to year changes is the MTFCI judging guidelines, available from the MTFCI online store. It's not cheap but it is a great resource, especially when inspecting a car for yourself or a friend.

I am the opinion that the upholstery in 1926 and 1927 Runabouts and Touring cars are similar but different. The 1927 cars had steel channels which secured the edges of the hip panels whereas in 1926, the panels were nailed to the body tack wood.

A Google search of “1926 Roadster interior” brings up a 2012 photo of a 1926 Runabout at Greenfield...

The old Sioux 645 series of valve grinders had attachments on the right hand side of the grinder for valve stems and push rods. The stones for the right side were much thicker than the valve facing stone on the left side.

I suspect few if any of these companies were pirate operations. A swarm of Ford lawyers would probably descend on violators and pick their bones clean. Licensing a company's name to other outfits continues today. An example is Firestone allowing use of its name on reproduction clincher tires.

Sounds Like you have a plan going forward. I hate to do this but you may want to consider a 10 tooth pinion with the Lane Warford
as that will give you a 3:1 in overdrive which is a hard gear to pull in a heavy car. ( works great in my speedster ) but it only

You can also get in trouble with the high gear link on the other end of that 1919 to 1925 clutch pedal, if you upgrade an early engine with a transmission cover that has provisions for a starter.

I have assembled wheels with the spokes painted. I did avoid painting where the spokes fit together. There was some very minor overspray and it was not a problem. I do like to rub a candle on those flat places to help them slide into place.

When you place the spokes into position, be careful to put the chamfer so that it faces the fillet of the hub. Also, watch the alignment of the base of the spokes relative to each other as you press and be quick to realign any that try to twist.

That makes it handy doesn't it? And the idea has some precedent. Buick Model Fs used handles to reach the petcocks under the cylinders. Those petcocks let excess oil out of the cylinders and also can be used to relieve the compression when starting.
