Time to thin down the shelves. I have 4 original roller timers with excellent rollers for sale. The contact surfaces have been machined true again and the rollers trued up as well. All the cases measure 3.000 or more so they won't wander around in a decent timing cover. Asking $35.00 for each set plus shipping, or all 4 sets (8 pcs.) for $135.00...

Thanks, I understand your concern but for my purposes I think the Kelsey/Ford combination will work well. I don't put many miles on my car or drive it fast.
I have a question about the spokes - is treating them with Keratex (horse hoof strengthener0 a good idea?

Here is a nice of 1950s or 1960s that are a pair of downdraft Solex carburetors. These are 1 1/4 in the throat and have 2 1/4 for the center to center for the bolts. These are 4 1/2 tall. Both have all of the carburetors complete. Comes with correct brass carburetor banjo gas lines, throttle mechanism, etc. Nice original and old pieces....

Luckily I have torn so many rear ends apart I have enuf Hyatts to last a couple of lifetimes, so I never need to use the solid roller type. I've heard and read that they are ok for the inner bearings. I don't know, but it seems to me the flex in the originals would be just as necessary in the inners.

Best ever barn find.This hood has no serious rust. Only surface rust in places. Lots of shiny original paint on the under side. Old faded paint on the outer side. Would be good for your old beater or an old faded restoration, requiring no work. It has dents on the top two panels but can't seem to make them show in the pictures. Someone borrowed...

I have been doing some maintainence on my 1912 chocolate van prior to some promotional work. I found a problem I have never before encountered.

The fixed end on the drag link was quite loose, and could be turned almost 1/2 a turn on the end. It appears to have never been riveted, and the bronze had let go. It is scary to think how long it has...

Looking for a good/working ignition switch. I've had two new switches that failed in one way or another quickly after installation. The one that is presently installed fails at times because the keyway is so loose the contacts fail and the key almost falls out. I want to get back to an original switch.Has anyone had luck with the rebuild kits...

I have rebuilt several switches with original and repro parts. The repro tumbler assembly does require a bit of fitting. The other rebuild part is the backing plate (pin or clip style). The new switch plates use the same parts so not sure what you might gain. The components behind the face-plate, rectangular or oval, are pretty much the same....

Some rings are in them and didn’t expand out so I assume they are stuck. Rings will require removing as well as cleaning of the grooves. I haven’t tried prying on...

Here is a very nice fan hub, may be NOS. Check out the dome on the pulley, no wear. Most are worn flat and belt will run off.
Only thing, this is for the late 3 row radiator. See the length of fan mount. $30 + shipping. Email me at address in pictures.

1910 housings. The type with washers welded on each side. Some pitting on the tubes, nothing serious. A small chip missing on the outer circumference of the mating surface doesn't affect function.
