Almost complete 1927 engine with a March 1927 serial number.
I purchased this years ago and believe the previous owner rebuilt it but never started it. The oil pan was clean and and it had all new gaskets. I did make a note that it was a .040 over re-ring. I do remember that I also lapped the valves, but do not remember if they were modern or 2...

I've seen the ones on eBay and they are a pig in a poke, would rather trust someone from this forum as to condition if anyone has two 21 demountable rims that they could part with. I could take a pic of my wooden spokes and inner wheel if it makes a difference as to the style, but the ones that need replacing have the flat bar interlocking strap...

This is a neat Electric Klaxonet horn. Just like a hand operated but electric driven. I hit it real quick with 12 volts and it works. Very loud! The bell looks like it was nickel plated but some has worn off. Appears to be brass underneath.

Keith, I believe the earlier running boards have smaller holes at each end for the fender mountings. Rater than 5/15 bolts used on the majority of production, the early ones used 1/4 bolts to attach the fenders.
